Thread: quests that are a waste of time

i just got 10k for 3 hours worth of work (roughly) from the sera quest with the crazy wookie u had to kill and then the doctor looking for roots to make a cure..
dont do it... u have to get 5 roots in the etyyy trail and theres only 5 flowers on a huge map u need to circle...and for all that u get 10k. its like looking for a needle in a hay stack and all u get is 10k sigh

not all quests are bad. most quests give cool painting's or wpns as rewards

What would you rather do, grind or do a quest? It might take 3 hours and only give you 10k but the fact is, it isn't grining.
I LOVE the new quests even if I do one and it just gives me 10k
EDIT: Could you give me the WP so I can go run that Sera quest please.

I have been searching for the DAMN roots for days. I have 4 of them but I can't find the 5th. I am assuming it's inside the hunting grounds INSIDE the huning grounds. There is another camp inside the hunting grounds with a gate and I can't get in there. DO you know how to get in there?

All 5 are in the main forest. Try the Chris Poachers Camp in the west, Main animal areas in the north west, southwest, east, and north east edges of the map.

Thanks for the tip. I think the one I am missing is in the Poacher camp. It's hectic in there when the whole place is shooting at you. And the root would be hard to find using the radar because there are many other containers in there.

Thanks for the water line root tip! WOOT. Quests don't suck. I like quests. Grinding sucks. I hate grinding. Quest good...grinding bad....

yes I like quests too,especially those with interesting bits. Like the Nym starmap quest and encountering Han Solo. You're told not mention Nym's nme but Han gets the jist and when you leve he says something like "Tell Nym I said hi".
But anyways.....A useless quest,how about the on-hold Syren Quest story arc. All that work and you get nothing. Or the "Find the missing son" quest. I go roaming for Lobarorr for an hour or 2(b/c he hasn't spawned yet) and then keep making trips back and,though,I haven't done the quest entirely yet, it seems like you don't get anything.
Dr. Farnsforth quest is kind of a waste of time. You do all the exploring only to get a painting that you get from the Bestine cantina quest,except that quest gives you another painting and a cool limb.

May I ask where the crazy wookie is? Is he in Karicho? Swear I've been all over that place dozens of times and never found him.

yeah but the blade-stick hasto be bio-lniked to use so its useless after you equip it once
