What if any is the differ with the jedi holocrons & the sith ones?

If I uses onewoulda some other playerbe able toto uses it after me?

I have heard that there are 2 different holocrons. One is Jedi and the other is Sith. Is there a particular difference between the two? Is the Jedi holocron the only one that will unlock the FS slot? Can the Sith holocron do the same? Will the holocron tell me to master some type of elite profession even if I am in the middle of a starting profession?

There is no practical difference between the Holocrons. They function in the same way.

holocrons do not directly unlock anything, as far as those who have gotten/used up to 4 can tell...they are supposedly a 'guide', kind of like the old lady in the Matrix...to quote morpheus:

"there is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path"...

and also, the sith/red and jedi/blue holocrons do the exact same thing..the devs have stated there will be no Sith..only Jedi, and Dark Jedi, and to become a Dark Jedi, you have to first atleast master Jedi...or something like that..check the FAQ, its stickied up on the top..

I mean if I happen to use it before I got to a novice elite profession, the holocron will still tell me to master some slite profession right?

possibly..you have a 1 in..however many proffesions there are chance..rather slim, but..hey, you could get lucky

1. For those who have finished the profession your first holocron said.
-What happened after you finished it?
-Can you release those skills without penalty toward FSCS?

2. If you got a second holocron of the same type.
-Did it say to go for another profession?
-If not, and it said you're on the right path, do you get to keep it?
-Should you keep the holocron instead of using it if it does disappear?

3. If you did both holocron types and their profession?
-Did you get any different message than the others?

4. If you're on 'the right path'.
-Is that another profession path?
-Do you now need to seek someone out?

5. About those '5' lucky souls.
-Do they know who they are?
-Why out of 300k plus people are there only 5?

My understanding is that you will have to master 4 professions. If this is correct then you have to be able to forfiet at least on master or a good part of it, because there are not enough skill points to master 4 at the same time.

the holocron faq answers all your questions..but everything right now is a guess

just a few questions regarding holocrons:

a) you can use a sith and light together?

b) if you buy one, does it still work for you?

c)once you master the profession, do you just unlearn it and go for next holo thingy?

1.Let's say I have mastered Master Medic and then surrender the skill.10 days later I buy a holocron and it sais Master Medic... Will it count that I once have mastered the medic skill?
