The devs should keep track of all the people that make comments on the forums or in game about "where is the $%#$# old man!!" , etc. and not give them access to the village EVER. I quote the great Yoda.

I fully agree. 
A lot of what people are saying is speculation any way and being taken as fact. This is journey is meant to be a mystery .

I love how everyone is missing that you will be visited in 1-3 days. Not 2 hours to 3 days. The system is being slammed with processing everyones status. I doubt we see a single old man till tomorrow.

Yeah, but Yoda wasn't swindling Luke out of his credits every month while he kept coming up with excuses to make him wait either...

I'm sick of reading, whyaren't iforce sensitive yet, when am i gonna get a visit fromt he old man??
If you're ready your ready........until then keep doing what you've always been doing and if you want to be a JEDI great, do whats required, sure it's gonna be a long slog but won't that be worth it?
Hey and here's a novel idea......it's MMORPG for a reason, maybe do some RPing, get INTO the game,don't bejust an "extra" grinding out 30+ professions, join a guild, help newbies, make a billion credits, do whatever floats your boat.
Just stop whining about "when am i gonna be the most rarest of characters in the SW universe, who commands the most difficult skills/attributes anyone person can have in SW universe".
how boring would it be if we all ran around wielding our glow sticks, with no other charcters/professions to interact with??
That my friends is NOT the Star Wars universe i know.....

Nobody is swindling your credits. You pay to play the game or you choose to quit there is no in between.

If they never deliver the game they keep promising us, then that meets the definition of being swindled to me.

The last time i checked the Dev's did not put a gun(or lightsaber) to anyones head to buy or play this game.
If you dont like the wait or the content, stop playing.
Yoda said it best- thanks for stating it in above thread.

Hopefully JTL with be here before we know it and the whiners will have something else to cry about. I like a lot thought the hologrind was bs any way, it raised the rates of equipment and resources, and peeps were selling AP. So it's like " Oh I'll help you I need training pay me 100k credits and I'll let you train me." and this is the same @$$ who when the game first started was wining that no one would help him. So the hologrinders will get first crack at the village I hope they all fail and died perma-death.
Then the real jedi's who have played and did not worry to grind every proffession, because that was not a true path to jedi, can do it and do it better. Think of the movies, I'm an old man I remember going to the theater to see the original Star Wars, Did Ben ever tell Luke " Luke, LUKE, train in every proffession to learn the force!" NO, of course he didn't, He told he to seek out a talking toad, who is older than dirt and learn from him. Please let 10-27-04 come sooner than later for it will get the whiny jedi wanna be's to quit filling up forum space with their crying and post some original idea's, or some helpful advice.

But I would like to add this. No one said SOE is "forcing" us to play. What was said was that we're being swindled. The definition for each is completely different. So no, no one's making us do anything. We pay our money willingly. But we pay it with the understanding that the service we're buying will be given as advertised. When it is not, it fits well under the definition of a con, swindle, or in the very least false advertising. So please, no more responses of the "gun to the head" variety.

I really dont see how Publish 10 is swindling you, No where did they say "Hey everyone will be Jedi right now" or did they say "Don't worry, it wont take any work at all to be Jedi". Will it take time to complete the quests for FS, yes, will it take time to become a Padawan, yes. I really think some people here need to learn some patience first of all. So it will take you some time to become a Jedi, I don't really recall it stating anywhere on the box or in the game that everyone can be a jedi with no work, yes it says you can become a jedi, but honestly, did you really think you could just make a new toon and automatically be a jedi. And dont start with the I did so many professions blah blah blah, you will get credit for that, so sit back, relax, and try not to have a coronary.

Okay, one star but no comments? Now why did I expect that to happen? 
And true ThalDev, no one is forcing us to play... Hell if I was one of those who hated the game I would have quit ages ago. But that's not how it is, I love the game and that's why I'm still here after playing for over a year..... But SOE DOES mess up alot of stuff and no one can deny that..
And it's easy to whine no the whiners when you're not affected yourself, I know this for a fact because this is, as far as I know, the first time I get pissed enough to whine on the forums.
Seriously, you guys dont agree with me?
You don't think I deserve to be a Jedi after grinding for over 500 hours and finding my silent holocron at profession #29 (did #30 as well just for fun).
Then tell me, when do you DESERVE to become a Jedi?
Maybe 1000 hours of meaningless grinding? 2000? You tell me...
This is my opinion and you may 1-star me as much as you want... as long as you give me some response. I don't want to know that someone disagrees with me without being able to discuss the subject.
