Greetings,

I want to change my template from Architect/Smuggler/Pistoleer to another template for a while .... I have solo combat against mostly (high HAM ) humanoid NPCs in mind, but also regular PvE and some PvP and want to keep working with pistols. The character will be equipped with heavy composite armor and has several high end pistols plus pistol skill tapes and attachments. Charakter is a female Twilek.

What do you think about the following template ? What different template would you suggest and why ?

Pistoleer Master

Marksman Master

Smuggler 0040

Commando 0040

TK 4000

Brawler 4000

Medic 0020

The idea is to start with being buffed by a doctor, buffing Mind myself as TK. Attack starts with DOT attacks (Fire, bleed). Then crowd control with warcry and rapid damage with flamer and/or pistols (fanshot area attack). Feign death. Heal while lying on back. Stand up. Crowd control. Reapply DOTs. Feign. Rinse and Repeat. Stand up. Kill several HAM1 enemies with fanshot. Heal with StimBs as needed.

Variations .. pikeman for disease DOT with nightsister lance ? But it may be better to try to get a geonosian pistols with a poison or disease attack and use it during combat for any additional DOT type.

Defence stacking with Fencer after patch still better than going commando ?

I like this a lot, very nice. I too have Flame IV, it's just not what it used to be. But I can't drop it.

Which do you all think would be better for tackling the Paddy Trials...

Which template would be the best for PvE - Corvette, Geo, DWB and NS hangouts are typical places I like to work.

So I am assuming I will need to be good against NPC and quick to run from players?

I hear that once you decide on a jedi template its hard to change so any advice is welcome.

defender is good against non jedi, so maybe MLS MD and 4004 healer, or MLS 4xx4 defencer 4004 healer and some enhancer if you wanna run and/or chanal.

If you wanna do PVE against creatures 0400 powers is really good because you can control the creatures.

I know of M.powers jedi who use the juvi's to tank the canyon's if they spawn together and so on

heh, such is my technique

Just a small note to the original poster, with MLS you can do very well in the Vette with only MLS (better take some steak when crap gets through block). The Geo can be solo'ed with only x4xx Powers asthe only thingyou have to kill is droids and Acky. Sorry to say DWB is just hard no matter what template but I'm guessing Defender has the best chance as Droids can not be intimidated and they go melee on you in there.

So the advice for a PvE run off PvP jedi seems to be a template with

MLS

Def 4004

Enh 4004

Heal 4004

plus nov brawler?

hes talking about battle droids in the dwb and the do go melee and can one hit a jedi
