if you are talking about the phase 1 persuasion quest, skirt the wall of the village (inside the wall) you will see some tents with villagers laying on the ground and med droids standing by them.. in one of those tents there is a npc named silvas or something like that... talk to her..

or you could CHECK THE STICKIES.. since every single bit of information that you could possibly ever need for EVERY village quest is in there.
