Thread: 9 hours an no sith? is this normal?

ok, i got visited by the old man 15 mins b4 server shutdown and straight after i disconnected and reconneccted in the hope the sith would attack me, unfortunatly they did not attack me and i waited till after server shutdown (still in a player city) then i logged back in and went hunting for 2 hours on dantooine, still no sith, so i went to another player city, logged out and logged back in... still no sith, i then went right out into the wildreness of tatooine for a while logged out logged back in and waited and i still have not had the sith attack, i have been told sith usually attack within 2 hours, is it a glitch that they havnt or r they just scared of me

Yep, took me about two days to get attacked. Supposedly it can take up to 72 hours (3 days) in some cases.

Best bet is to shuttle somewhere every 30 minutes or so and head outside the city. Worked for me within the first 24 hours.

This has been checked and tested, it doesn't matter what you do while you wait for the sith or the old man, shuttling and or logging in and out has no effect at all, and all stages of waiting game will be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days (72) hours. There is nothing you can do to speed up the visits/attacks. The timer is server side, and it is completely random. Shuttling back and forth will do nothing but waste time and money.

I don't understand why everyone is so impatient with the Old Man and the Sith attacks. It's not like you're gonna become Jedi any faster.
You know what you get to do once they visit? You get to wait around 18 weeks .. or 24 weeks .. or 36 weeks .. depends on your choice of FS skills.
I doubt that many of the people unlocking these days will be receiving holocron credit so that argument is pretty much void. Even if most of the peeps were receiving holocron credits they will still have to wait on at least one phase, there is absolutely no way around waiting on the village phases to shift.
Why the big rush?

when i was waiting for them everyone told me usually 24 hrs after old man and because of my availablity it was about 36hrs.

Yeah, it almost always takes at least 24 hours from when you turn glowy.
