Wow...thats some really cool loot they are adding, but will Mellichae drop the arm every time? Anyone know the stats or what it looks like?

Is Mellichae soloable? Id hate to loose the arm to someone greedy in a party I might have

I've never been part of a party that didn't let the person whose mission it was loot Mel, but you can guard against this by making sure you're the group leader & using /grouploot to select master looter.
