Thread: It's a little early but... Phase 3 quistion

Is anyone going to do the "capture the captain" quest in phase 3 if the reward is a "mind buff" crystal with zero stats.

Yes you can get the color crystal if a partner does half the quest. Sunriders Destiny I assume since that is what it was the last 2 (3?) times.



Anyone think they will fix this before phase 3(3weeks or so)? Think they will fix ones already rewarded?

Sunriders Destiny is worth it. The mind buff (I've heard???) is being look into and possibly will be worth something again. If so, it would be worth it as well.

Sunriders Crystal is well worth it. Tiggs posted a little while back stating they know the mind crystal is not working as it should and are looking into it.There was no ETA though....Im running my alt through it for the sunriders the Mind Crystal is just fluff right now..

I ran this quest with a group 3 times this weekend on TC-Prime (we are in Phase 3 there). If you want melee accuracy it's worth your while to go ahead and do this with a friend to get the mind buff crystal. If the devs eventually fix the crystal to do something else you don't want to be left without it when you could have easily picked it up.


The difficulty of the quest is not so bad now. The turrets are the hardest thing to fight since the one inside will shoot you through the walls while you can't return fire due to line of sight, and will keep hitting you up to 100 m away.If your group is mostly melee make sure every member has an advanced laser rifle for taking out the turrets.


The Sith you fight are lvl 76 and lvl 77. A group of 4 should have little trouble with the quest, except for trying to lead the Sith commander over any hills. Before heading out to do this quest make sure you have scoped out a course to lead him back that does not go over anything steep. Also, the commander moves so slowly that you must make sure the base you choose to attack is less than 3 km from the Village.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty certain its the other way around. i.e. you get the colour crystal 'only'if you solo it and both if you have a friend do one part of the mission.


Word of warnng though.. almost impossible to solo, and difficult even with a group.

wait about the crystal...you get it during the melee acc. unlock quest? how so? any stickes for a guide to do this? i was planning on unlocking this next phase and if i can get that crystal i would do what i need to get it

Read the stickies for more info. If you share the quest with a friend you get Sunrider's Destiny and the mind buff crystal. If you're the only one doing the quest in your group you will only get Sunrider's Destiny.
