So for those of you looking, I've been shuttle hopping and setting camp at 0,0 for two days, waiting for the Old Schmuck. Then I head home, drop something off, walk until I'm outside the city limits, pause for 3 seconds and the Old Man comes running up to me. Didn't happen after a shuttle or at 0,0, but 10 minutes after I logged in on day 3 just outside a player city.

I doubt there is a way to hurry him up, some people take 1 shuttle & he is there, some take 20 & he is there, some take 100's & he never shows, some don't shuttle at all & he turns up after 24 hours, it's random, i think the shuttle thing is a simple but but believable Myth.

I was out in middle of dantooine doing missions when he showed up and funny part was I had 3 of them all show up and come to talk to me

I waited the full 3 days, I was so pissed when he finally showed up, If he was attackable, I woulda feckin pwned him lol

yah, theyre all cheap buggers, you do something nice for them, and all they do is give you the odd 2k and tell you to do more work
