Thread: need some advice as well, concerning plotting of my FS grind to jedi

not asking on what is the fastest or what not.
my dilemma is this. i have one char that is FS, a few trees unlocked, but no boxes yet (saving up the fs xp). i have another char. that was my original character from way back, dec 03 i think. My original char finally got glowy and IIRC for doing my 4 holos (pre pub 9) ill get 3 trees... (please correct me if im wrong, because it might make my decisions easier.)
now, the true dilemma of the situation is, my char. that i did the holos on is master armorsmith, master merch, master artisan... basically no combat profs. my other char. is MBH/MPistoleer/carb 0300. i realize i could do the fs grind with out using combat, however Im thinking way way way ahead to that eventual point in time when a BH or so comes for me, and I have nothing but the limited padawan skills. Now, i could grind combat stuff on my Master armorsmith/glowy char, but that would throw off not only the setup i have , but it would throw my guild off as well, since they rely on me for armor.
so, grind with my master as with 3 free trees, or grind out with my combat char. any insight into this would be appreciated. what would be, not neccesarily the fastest, but what would require the least amount of energy in your all's opinions?

i would make a little change over, get AS on the current combat char, and then do tkm or m pikes and commando on the one with 3 trees unlocked, takes a lot less time to grind a few proffs than wait for unlocks and grind fs

i'd use the one with the free unlocks, grind some combat profs for it.
Do what you must for yourself, your guild will understand, after all, you could always re-build your temp on your extra character slot, after unlock.

alright guys, thanks for the help. helped my conclude that i will definately use the three free unlocks to my benefit. well.. here goes the long grind to somewhere

doesnt have to take too long, you could do a branch of fs in 5 buffs (approx 20 hours) get commando 4xxx and grind for 10 hours, eat and rest for 2, grind for 10, sleep for 8, and repeat, youll be done in 90 hours time = just under 4 days.
havent done exactly this, but i did do 5 buffs continuosly with only a 30 min break between buff 3 and 4 to make myself some dinner

I have an idea...let's all quit are jobs, never get laid, have food delivered, never bathe, only go to the bathroom when your healing battle fatigue ('cmon. you know that's when you go!) and have a server that's nothing but jedi!....got to go...I have to take a piss before I take this chick out to dinner so I can get laid before work.
