This petition to the devs to consider the idea to be given more Combat xp when actually in.....

Combat (ie -- GCW/Faction/Pirates/Thugs/Fiends/PVP)

I have been on an Imp killing fest. I figure I can do this for about 3 weeks without getting too bored. The faction points are very nice, and I am promoting up quickly, picked up some faction pets too. Now, I can understand a lower combat xp when facing creatures, because really that is not combat, IMHO.

My proposal is that if you are engaged in GCW combat related activities (ie, killing faction) then your combat xp should be closer to 30-40 %, not the current 10. This should only apply to faction related or humanoid related combat, and should extend to PVE and PVP alike.

agree or disagree?

Actually, I wish they would raise the Combat XP cap to 900k like weapons, that way I would have to take less conversion trips.

It just makes sense to me. Besides, if you knew you could make 2500-3500 xp taking on faction NPC's in GCW, or against other players in GCW, wouldnt that interest you?

Would make the game a whole lot more interesting too.

Should GCW participants get a bonus over non-participants? Doesn't seem too fair to me.

Fair it is. One is not required to participate in nade grinding either. Should it be fair that nade grinder's get more xp than non nade grinders.

Incentive to take part in the GCW this does invite. More people fighting for the cause to the game this will bring. Yes! Good, Yes!

Well this is a game that is based on the GCW, so yes I would say that's fair. If you choose not to be in the war at all, then don't be. This game wouldn't be different from any other MMORPG if it was just people going around killing creatures and looting. Don't get me wrong, I go and loot lots of stuff myself, but it should actually be more about killing the opposite faction. My 2 cents anyways

Increased xp for the Force grind shouldnt be the incentive to participate in the GCW. And as for nades, I completed my FS xp grind without them and a big chunck of it was doing GCW figthing. You already get faction points as a bonus. Neutrals don't get that.

No, it shouldnt be the reason to drag people into GCW, however, I wonder how many people would participate in GCW if they knew they could receive xp faster, and hence, master their profession faster.

Not as much as you think. I know that most people who are neutral are like that because of an RP reason, not because of any game mechanic.Always exceptions though...
