One more question. do you receive quest rewards for "free unlocked" ? thanks again

From what i can gather you won't get any FREE unlocks at all for just doing your HOLO profs. You needed to have done some of your silent profs as well to get credit for free unlocks.

It started out that you had 4 Holo profs and 1 silent but as more and more people made jedi SOE decided to increase the number of silents you needed in order to unlock your jedi, it ended up as i remember being 6 silents and 4 holo's with each silent being worth 1 free unlock.

This was verified in some way by the last few people unlocking before publish 9 after having mastered 31+ profs and not 11 or 12 as it was in the early days.

If you do qualify then you can unlock them all when ever you want to (non phase dependant) but you don't get the quest rewards. You can also start any of that phase's particular quests straight afterwards with no issue. Just make sure that if you get more than 1 free unlock you go and train 1 tree to tier 4 before coming back and unlocking the next and so on. Not sure why but this was recommended by the devs some time ago around the time of Publish 10.

you had to master 8 professions *unique for your character* to unlock your jedi slot. you would get a max of 4 of those revealed by the holocrons. In the new system to know how many frees you get it is simply number of holo-profs done minus 2.

therefore if u did 5 of you 8 holo-profs you will get 3 unlocks (i got 3)

if you did 3 profs you will get 1 free unlock

if you did 2 profs you will get 0 free unlocks

if you did all 8 - but after the holo-system was stopped last summer, then when the new system started you would get 6 free unlocks and go straight to padywhine trials

I was wondering how many free unlocks a person will get if they did 3 of the holo profs.

Also, are these unlocks dependant on what phase the village is in? Meaning, can I unlock a phase 3 if the village is in phase 1?

also, once I use a free unlock, can I continue to do a nonunlocked quest?
