Thread: what about nade grinding after cu

sry for repost i posted this on jedi forum but some1 thought this was a better place so i post it here instead
Hi!
Plz don't just write anything like it sucks to grind with nades or that all who does are stupid idiots thx. But will it still be as effective as it is now cheaper/more expensive i'm so confused now don't know if I should continue with commando then or what :S.

Do what i am doing, grinding out all the xp to cover all 24 boxes with nades b4 cu..

Seeing as how the entire system will be changing, I think it will be much harder to nade grind. I do not think you will be able to sit in the middle of a lair and chuck nades after the CU and live very long. The mobs are giving out damage now based on your "level". It seems they are really pushing for the group effort. Not sure as to how strong the mobs will be when everything is said and done, but good rule of thumb for now is think of it as going away completely. This will light a fire under your butt to get as much done now as you can now. Even if you do not unlock before the CU, if you get 1-5 mil more it will help you then.

It won't work the same because you won't be invincable anymore. If you try after the revamp you will die.
Keep grenades with you and toss a few while you group for some bonus combat exp.

well thats the truth unfortunately, with the CU buffs are going to be reduced, along with the effectiveness of armor (I believe they said somewhere the days of 80% comp for everyone was going poof) and of course the increase in mob toughness according to combat level ect means that with the blast damage from your own gernades and the damage from hig level mobs beating on you you will probably die fairly quick. What I did in case I didn't beat out CU was go and grind combat and reflexes xp like crazy then start in on senses XP (aiming for 2 branches of it) which requires only a friend and no running around dath or spending MILLIONS on gernades...that way if I didn't complete by the time CU dropped the whole nade thing wasn't a factor since I was healing and rez'ing by now anyway. Thankfully though I finished way ahead of time and went and got another reflex branch instead 
it's 1.2 million senses xp to waste but oh well I'm not worried if your down to a few branches though and don't think you will complete before the CU I suggest taking a serious look at senses especially if you have some doc friends who will make you rez schematics for you
