Thread: Is FS Ranged Speed still bugged?

A while ago I read that FS Ranged Speed was bugged. The concensus on the boards was that FS Melee Speed in fact gave bonuses to both Ranged and Melee Speed, where as the FS Ranged Speed skills did nothing at all.
So, does anyone know if this is still the case?

Yes...far as I know. There has never been an official post that it is fixed.

That is why youare so much faster. Rifleman is one of those profs that gives a giant boost to your skills once you get master. It's Master or nothing with rifleman.

Hm. I don't know... I just got Master Rifleman and I also have all four boxes of Melee Speed making +12. If these 12 points are added to rifles I should be speedcapped, but I just noticed I am definitely faster with my quick disruptorrifle than my slow 7.4 second T21.
As it happened I had points enought to buy the first box of FS Ranged Speed and I am almost sure it made a difference.
I'm not 100% sure though.

Yes, I noticed the +20 rifle speed at Master Rifleman and naturally there was a huge difference. 
However, even after mastering thus having +90 rifle speed in total, I was not speedcapped with my 7.4 second T21. According to the forumla a rifleman speedcaps at +97 rifle speed. So... if my +12 FS Melee Speed were to add to ranged speed (as it used to when the bug was active) then I'd be speedcapped.
Since I wasn't... I can only assume that the Dev's have fixed the bug and that FS Melee Speed only gives bonuses to melee speed, and FS Ranged Speed now works and gived bonuses to rifles, etc.

It doesn't matter to me if the skill set is broke, as long as it unlocks me.

No answer will come. I have picked up both of the ones you mention, but this MAY get fixed after the CU, so I think RS would be a better choice.

Bump in hope for a dev reference or answer. It would be nice to know since I am choosing between ranged speed and veh control right now.
