Thread: how much FS XP can you bank?

Someone told me it was 1.2 million. I have heard of others banking 5. i like my current template and really dont want to have to change it until my FS grind is done and i get to padawan. is it possible to bank the full 7.5 million needed and then pick what trees i want as I unlock them?

there is NO known cap on it. ive seen peopel with 10+ million.

yay, was gonna ask about a FS xp cap. now I can go nuts with rifle--> FS xp before i switch to pistoleer (can't learn anything else until thenand i'm still working towards melee def 4, so it's grind time 
)

From what i've read, there is no cap. However, aren't there different kinds of xp like FS combat, FS Senses, etc? Can't these types only be used for the specific branches? If these are true make sure you don't convert xp and accumulate 7.5mill of say FS combat when you might need some xp converted to the other branches.

to answer your question here:
The cap for a fs tree is 5.1 million xp.
So you can bank 5.1 million combat prowess, 5.1 million reflexes, etc. Basically you will have enough xp to cap out every branch you need without having to train in the boxes until you have enough for all 6 branches.
If you do a search for FS Cap, you will find a post there that gives out this info.
Basically someone looked into the .tre files and found that there is indeed a hard cap of 5.1 million fs xp per fs profession tree.

sorry to hijack this post with unrelated question. i did the quest in phase 4. this is my first phase in village. i trained the novice box for prowess. i cant train further now. i thought i would get at least one branch unlocked. the captain tells me i'm busy with assignments from other villagers, and noldan says i cant train yet. i have a million force xp...i'm confused. can anyone help?

You need to complete a quest to unlock a skill branch within the tree... check your mission journel to see which mission you are on now.. you can only do onw mission each village cycle (3 weeks).
If you have completed a mission and do not know which skill you can now train, go to the guy who converts your XP into Force XP and ask him what you are ready to learn, he will tell you what skills you have unlocked.
You can buy the Combat Prowess, Enhanced Reflexes, etc skill branches for XP. But you need to unlock the individual skills (Melee Speed, Survival, etc) by doing missions for the people of the village.

I know there's a bug with the Sgt guy right now, after you complete the tree unlock quest in phase 4 he wont give you your box, he just says you have your ahnds full withs omething else. From what I've read in other psots there should be a hotfix coming out for it. Hopefully soon, this was my first unlock, I rushed to fit it in before the phase changed, and I'm hoping to god I don't have to do it all over again in 18 weeks because of hte bug. I'd recommend filing a bug report if the problem continues.
