Lol, yes the sith killed me, I was bugged or something because I just couldn't attack them - the combat queue would just empty =(

The old man just revisited me now and so I have another crystal =)

But my question is, will I have to wait another 24 hours for them to come? I'd like to find out as I'd rather go and do stuff than sit and idle for that long, lol

I'd also like to point out that in my quest journal the sith ambush is marked as done =S even though I dont have the village wp =(

Meh, its ok - they came about 4 hours after I posted - so the answer is no, you dodn't have to wait the full 20-24 hours for them to come again if they kill you =P

Were you marked as AFK? I've noticed with the recent patch, that if you're marked AFK then none of your attacks will land --exactly as you described the combat queue will empty as normalbut the attacks aren't performed. I never saw an announcement about this change. It's not a bad thing, it stops AFK macro looting andpretty much dead in it's tracks. It sounds like this is what you encountered.
