Thread: how do C12 grenades do?

Been commando 4000/Tkm, been grinding 1 FS branch with thermal detonators... ran out of money, wanted to do other stuff... became bounty hunter, but each time I see a Jedi something inside me tells me to work on Jedi... So I want to keep Bounty hunter for fun and meanwhile grind FS to become Jedi, but this means I can only use C12 grenades (don't want to waste SP on commando).

Just want to know, how much FS xp do you get in 1 buff session using C12 grenades?

Takes me about two hours to get 100k FS XP. That includes time looking for a solo group, getting buffed, finding missions and the ride to the village. I've grinded using nothing but C12's since the end of december and I'm halfway done with my 5th tree. My best advice would be to take it one day at a time and don't look at how much grinding you have left to do. If you grind for two weeks with nades you can get a week off to do other things, or grind every other day.I have no regrets either, as these grenades are cheap (Especially if you find your own resources and have a Weaponsmith make the schematics)

Well according to some of the people that have already posted here, you can get around 100k FXP in one buff, so do that once a day for 13 days and you'll have more then enough to keep up with the phase shift (usually 21-23 days) If you just do it once a day for about 2 months then you should have all the exp you need. Good luck

With the new TEF changes you might as well go find a concentration of PvE bases and grind FP, gets you loads of FP and combat exp.

If you fight nonstop you'll cap in a session no doubt, not to mention the amount of FP you'll get (should get bout 20-30k or so).

Ah, and to further explain why this is so good... do some counting on how much cash you get if you sell the FP for 80credits/fp or so.... why the low price? Well, you'll get it sold much quicker and will have more time to get new fp

I grind with C12's exclusively. I can bank 200k FS XP in one buff. I usually also get about 50-100k of extra combat xp at the end to help out the next grind session. Of course, I also use max damage PuP's.

I did my entire grind with C12s. Took me 2 hours to make 300k in combat xp and 900k in my polearms. Converted, that is 130k fs xp. Usually spent 1/2 to one whole crate of nades on each lair, depending on how good the nades were, and would cap out combat xp in three and a half to four lairs. Was never behind on a phase and even banked enough xp for my final phase before it began. All of that combined means 10 trips to the village in my 3week Phase span. Not so shabby Good luck with your grind

Thats hard to say.. when I took two missions for a run, I was milking them every time. That means, you need more nades than the regular way. It took me around 1 crate (25 nade packs with 5 throws each pack) for those two missions. And I also used max damage pups (which I sell btw ).

If you've got more than about 2 FS trees left to fill, then you will find it is a lot quicker to get commando 4 and then regrind your bounty hunter afterwards than it is to do it all with C12s.

I definetly wouldn't sign that.. I grinded up 4 branches with C12s within 4 weeks. two branches in one week and than I lowered my paces

I've been commando 4000 with Thermal detonators. But I stopped becauze it was boring, not the grind but the template. You couldn't do much more than grind... that's why I want to use C12's now so I can keep my bounty hunter template to have fun after the grinding hours. Also C12's are alot cheaper, I almost spent all of my money on these bloody expensive Thermal dets.
