on a web site. Seems ot go along with the fact that dark jedi should disappear when training. From what I have seen is that Light Jedi are hunted by the Darth Vader and it would seem plausable that Vader would employee the Dark Jedi to assist him and be void of the being hunted by at least the empire. If they where hunted by a Bounty Hunter then the empire should come on them ... I know that these things have been covered before but this is just my spin.

I've also heard that when Darth Vader said to wipe out the Jedi. He also meant wiping out the Jedi loyal to him. Can't remember where but i do remember it being stated he's out to kill every jedi, good or bad.

If you stick to the Movies cannon, Vader wiped ALL the Jedi out, friend or not.

However if you are into the EU quite a bit, it turns out Vader only destroyed the Jedi Order as we know it, NOT exterminated the Galaxys Jedi. The Emperor had many "Emperor's Hands" the most famous of whom is Mara Jade(Later to become Luke's wife.) The Emperor also had a group called "Legions of Legow" whom were Jedi that survived the "purge" and were turned into servants of the Empire.
