I just want to clear one thing up.
If the lair says "Baz Nitch Lair", it is NOT a random spawn. It is someone's mission. If it isn't your mission, don't drive up and start killing them and don't drive around the lair and start aggroing all the BN's on you. I understand mistakes happen, but I and many other players are tired of morons killing/driving off with half of our creatures.
The same is true for any named lair (Huurton Stalkers/Piket Plains Walkers for example). Random spawns have names like "Brambles", "Pile of Rocks" etc.
thanks.

LOL. Same thing happened to me yesterday, gets annoying doesn't it? Worse when its the same dude buzzing your nitches driving by on a swoop multiple times to the point you are only nading the lair...

thing here is:
If you're not fighting it, then it's free game to anyone passing by.
There is no name tag on that lair to say
"Please don't attack me, i am the property of so n so, and being milked atm. My owner is currently attacking his other lair and will be back shortly"
So while i realise it's frustrating, yes, it happened to me all the time too. You can't tell people not do it, since by rights, you leaving the vicinity of the lair is like saying "Done with it. thanks"
It's better to just grin and bear it and continue on with new missions.

Wrong.
Random spawns DO have names at times. Your mission WILL NOT spawn untill you are close enough to update the waypoint.
There is a thread about this somewhere else, people always cry that thier missions get taken, and I am sure it happens, but saying all named lairs are someones missions is not correct.
Giant Baz Nitch lairs are quite common on Dathomir, as are named spawns like Picket Plains Walker and Huurton Stalker lairs on Dantooine.
Vent about someone taking on your mission (only could happen if you werewithin 300m from lair) if you must, but dont give out info that is false just because 'You think' you know all about it.
To sum this all up, named lairs are NOT always mission based. I do believe people take lairs that other people grind on, leave and wait for respawn, if you leave the lair, its upfor grabs in my book, go to terms and pull another rather than moan and complain.

To invoke more flames...
If it's in my way, and if I can kill it, and I feel the urge to do so, then yup, I'm going to kill it.
No different then all the millions of players that camp spawns to get the loot. I can't stop you, and you can't stop me. Just as in real life, the better, faster people get everything.
Sorryif I took your spawn, but I guess it fit the above criteria. While I don't actively go about looking for other people's missions, it happens. I don't get mad when mine are taken. Shrug it off and get another mission.
Annoying as hell, yes, but is it really worth sweating over it, no.

i guess what upsets me is ,not the fact that someone kills my lair(mission) what really gets ubder my skin if the fact that some puttz comes up to your lair while u are there and proceeds to kill your mission.. that my friend is something to get pissed about.. what you are complaining about can not be helped in all instants.
so grin ,bear it and just get a new mission ..
/sarcasim on a side note : i love when the jedi and their" force run" go to the squill cave while you are there , and collect all squills and kill them in 5 seconds =) makes grinding so easy for me /sarcasim off

Let me clear something up for you.
Mission Lairs do not spawn until you are within range of the waypoint not when you take the mission. I'm sure you've noticed it if not well now you know.
With that in mind any Lair Named or not with noone within radar range Is fair game regardless if it WAS your mission or not.
I'm also not gonna drive out of my way just because your mission is there so if the creatures decide to agro me tough luck.
I'm not gonna go running up to a lair that someone is currently in combat with but you have no claim to anything that is in the world when you are not in the area so tough cookies.

I actually have a funny story i'd like to share about the so called "mission stealers"
When i was grinding out my FS xp, i used a trick to cause 10 mobs to aggro on me at once. It's known as Feign Death.
The problem was, once i was feigned, no one noticed me usually, so people would often stop and look around the area to see if anyone was there. If they saw no one, they'd get off their swoops and move in to fight.
This was fair enough, they couldn't see me, since most of the time i was laying in the lair.
What i enjoyed doing was /stand and typing BOO
They would often apologise profusely, explaining they hadn't known i was there. Which always got a chuckle out of me hehe.
The way i see it is this. If they're attack a lair you're standing at, then yes, they need to get a little more respect. That's just plain oafish behaviour and you can probably get away with reporting it under harrassment.
In these cases, they need to go away. But don't start yelling and bitching at them, it will make them less inclined to leave and more inclined to spoil your party.
Just be respectful in tone, polite in manner and 9 times out of 10 they will say sorry, and move on. There's always the 1 undesirable in the 10 that you'll encounter. Those ones are the ones you report to a CSR.

If you don't like your mission spawns getting wiped out by some passerby, there's a very simple trick to avoid it.
Go somewhere with very few people.
That way, you're far less likely to draw the attention of other players. The Dant Agro Outpost is just one example of one of those places almost no one travels to. I'll admit that when I'm driving around on Dant and I find a decent lair (pikets or better), I'll wipe it out. It's there and it's good xp so it's going to get wiped out should I pass by. I usually do missions from the Agro outpost to reduce the risk of this.

I have to agree with starcrusher.
I didn't sit at the in the buffline for 5 minutes, sit at anAFK solo group bot for 5 min and then spend another 5 minutes clicking through the mission terminaljusttogive someone else a"free lair" to hit. I am the only reason that lair is there...I took the mission and created the lair.Had I not taken that mission from the terminal, you wouldn't have had that lair to steal.
Yes, I have seen wildspawns that say "lair" but afaik these are usually found 2KM+ from an outpost. Sure, you can play dumb or say "I don't care", but you know as well as I do thatalmost every one of these "lairs" within 2KM of the outposts are mission lairs.
Grinding is bad enough, why make it worse on someone by stealing their mission?

Narreem0884 has an excellent point, staying away from the populated areas is your best bet.
