Thread: Mellichae and phase 1 quest question

I just earned all the force xp I need! whew!
Now I need phase 1 to arrive. I'm doing Whip for Reflexes: Survival branch. As a TKM and Master Pikeman, should I need help taking on a few Sith?
I have read lots about folks using ranged weapons (rifles mainly) to destroy crystals, but as Master TKA/Pikeman will Ibe ok if I bring friends to help tank/heal me while I melee the crystals?

Last I read you have to used ranged weapons on the crystals or they bug. You don't nescessarily need to be a master ranged though now - just use a ragned weapon you're CL certified on and /rangedshot - but it'll take a lot longer.

PLEASE FOLLOW UP ON THIS QUESTION IF YOU HAVE INFO!
Do you have to use ranged weapons on the crystals when doing the Mellichae quest? I'm Master TKA/Pikeman.

what I've heard is you can kill the crystal however you like, except it has to be you. From what I've seen if anyone but you takes the crystal down to 0, it will bug and won't be destroyable.
