Thread: Mellichae can be done with 2

I just beat it 20 min ago along with help from a jedi. Yes, I can understand it can be beat solo (only if conditions are right). I also understand the crystals are bugged to many people. I did extended research here before I took on the mission. This is what I have found out. #1. Take Mell trial on Tatooine (better chance to solo it). #2. You have to use range weapons like rifle for crystals (and you have to do all the damages to it or the 2nd green crystal will NOT fall). #3. Get a Jedi tanker.
I came on early morning, shuttled to Tatooine. There I met up with the old man, and got the mission 1400m away. I tried to get some friends to come. But almost all of them are not on except 1 lvl 20 friend. I read about solo the mission. So I went there to scout by myself. I know if I can draw Mell out 200-300m from camp, and run him into aggro NPCs, and do disconnect, and back, I can kill him with ease. However, I could not find ANY NPC 400m within. Therefore, taking out crystals one by one is the only option left. With my rifle, I took out the 1st green crystal w/o aggro them. I then went around for the 2nd green crystal (and thinking in my mind this may be bugged...)
I started shooting at it. 25% of the way, 2 sith aggro, and started firing at me. I lost my bike, and ran away. Still alive. I figure I need help... I did people search and found a Jedi near by (I dont know him personally butwe did a screwed mission together for Mort). He came. Protected me while I took out the 2nd green crystal. It went down. and then 3rd red, 4th red. I took care of them while the Jedi covered me and healed me. A load of siths respawnd after the 4th crystal went down. But no problem for that Jedi. He took care everyone there. I did help. Killing a few sith and a few shots on Mell.
End of the story, Hope it helps you guys out. Btw, still thanks to other friends who made it at the end and whom tried to gather ppl for me. Its not that my friend didn't come, its just... simply, that Jedi is too powerful, he cleaned them out in a short period of time. Btw, Mecll is lvl 85.

What about Daktar?? I had a Jedi master help me and he might have been able to solo it but Daktar is lvl 100 and attacks you first. he hits reg prof for close to 1000 dmg. How did you take care of that.

I soloedMel and I just avoided Daktar. Mel runs faster then everyone else (Force Run I guess) so it's easy to get him far enough way for Daktar and the others to un-aggro, then I switched between root and snare to keep him at a distance while pounding him with head shot. Only help I had was my Pre-CU Probot droid, who did a little damage to him. Took me like ten minutes, but he did eventually go down for good.

Well, that Jedi was tooooooo powerful. As I was in the process of destroying 4th red crystal, He was battling both of them. Yes, 1 single Jedi vs. 1 lvl 85, and 1 lvl 100 at the same time. He was having fun.
