Do these FS skills like melee speed for example carry over to your Jedi later. Or are they
just need to grind up to becoming a Jedi?
In other words will my enhanced Melee spped +3 be there whne I am a jEdi Knight for example?
Or will I eventually lose all of the FS skill enhancements?
If you lose them then when is the point of getting then in the first place, if in the end your have
to give them up?

I believe that you have to keep all 24 boxes of FS skills for the entire duration of you being a jedi. If i am incorrect someone please correct me.

You need to keep 6 full branches at all times to be a jedi (24 sp). If you change your mind about what you want, you need to grind an entire 7th branch before dropping one. If you plan to be a jedi, select and plan your FS skills carefully so you don't need to go to the village again later. (Although repeating some quests for rewards can be nice.)
Some best bets are melee and ranged defense, and melee accuracy and speed (I don't think speed currently works for sabers, but I guess it will eventually). Then take any 2 others that float your boat and fit your current profession(s). Luck, vehicle control, and crafting experimentation are all popular, and some folks take the survival line for the 5 TN they'll get to keep from the line.

The Force experimentation and tech is nice to have then crafting your saber......Assemply is not as important as all you get is great and amazing succes at master lightsaber, which btw does no difference expect to the hidden decimals.....maybe, no1 knows.

Only the branches from combat prowess and enhanced reflexes are useful.
The crafting things only give you a better chance on an amazing succes with crafting or experimenting and technique gives a lower chance of failing while crafting.
As for heightened senses: Healing only makes you heal better and faster, which is only useful for someone with novice medic.
Surveying is only useful for crafters.
Persuasion is totally useless.
Luck seems to only give you more money when you loot your enemy.
And I believe melee speed doesn't make you swing your saber faster cause you're already capped with master lightsaber, which is kinda required to be a good/succesful jedi.
And you'll need 6 fully trained force sensitive skills (6 branches) in order to become and be a jedi.
Just like a teras kasi master will always have novice brawler, a jedi will always have 6 full branches of FS skills.

Basically right on the money.
Certainly not true, you will escape more StormTrooper scans, pay less for faction stuff, etc.
Melee Accuracy and Speed are both VERY useful. Yes speed helps, cause you need over 15 mil jedi exp to cap at Master LS, +12 speed until then is a huge difference. Accuracy helps for everyone, even at Master LS for hitting def stackers...
