Ok, Ive tried 4 Whip missions tonight and NONE of them produced a downed ship. There is no friggen way that someone killed the missions each time so rule that out. What a friggen waste of time! Ive traveled back and forth from the Village to Endor. Thats 14,000 M per try. What a joke. Oh, and the last time it was in phase 2 I couldnt do the Whip missions 'cause it had bugs then too. SOE get off your @sses and fix this.
And no Im not whinning, Ive been playing since week 3 and put up with a lot of shlt and never complained (except when they were gonna nerf vendors). This is ridiculous.
PS: I work in the game industry and I know how lazy everyone involved can be. Get to friggen work!

I did this quest last phase 2 and i found that the downed ship isnt at the waypoint, rather you have to search the area around the waypoint to find it, may take some time, especially in the darkness

Yup... when u arrive at wp it tells you the downed ship is nearby.
Keep your overhead map on and travel in a 500m circle around your wp - ship shows on map as a big rectangle...

wooooaaaahhh there! Calm down, relax and when you're blood pressure has dropped a little just fly a 250m radius around the wp and a look for a white dot on the radar. That'll be the ship you need!

they wored fine - one of "my" ships was nearly 1000m away from the wp - do what the prevous posters said - overhead map and circle around the wp
i can also happen that a 2nd ship is near your wp ! make sure you have the suppliesin your inventory before you leave towards dathomir again

If you pull up your overhead map the ship appears as a big white rectangle.

I have just finished this quest and what every has said is very accurate. I found this quest to beeasy, long, and boring. But all waypoints should be on Endor and you do have to search the surrounding area for the ship. You don't even have to fight the sith. Just drive near the ship and crate will show up in your inventory.

Hi
I got to the last quest, collected the supplies only to have a gorax spawn right on top of me. He had 420k HAM and killed me pretty quick, and I'd never seen one before in over a year of playing lol
Cheers

The first time I did it I absolutely could not find my downed ship... Maybe I just suck at finding but I did a 250m, 500m, and even 1000m circle around my wp and still didn't find it. So I went back to Whip and reset the quest. I went to my second wp and found the ship in almost no time at all. Keep your overhead map (CTRL + M) up and have it zoomed out as far as it can go (CTRL + M + Mouse scroll) is how I find it. It looks like a rectangle with a corner taken off. It gets frustrating, but you'll get it don't worry
Good luck!
Good luck!

Did this one last night no problem, except for the almost three hours of travel time x_X.
Its not bugged as far as I could tell and the other posters seem to be right.
Now as far as the content goes... SOE's formula seems to be a little off
Long + boring + mindnumbingly simple != fun
Long + boring + mindnumbingly simple == a job
Hello? Isn't it force sensitive vehicle handling? How about oh I dont know.... a race? They've already got the mechanics for doing races, just implement it in the village. This quest is just lazy developers not taking the time to use code *they already have* to produce real content.

Hit the Smuggler's Outpost on Endor and turn on your overhead map. The waypoint will only give you the general vincinity of the downed ship, not the actual coords where the ship is. With the overeahd map on, you will see an odd looking rectangle in the general vincinity of the waypoint, that is the ship.
You can go up to it, recover the supplies and take off without engaging the Sith there, but I recommend battling the sith. I got 190k worth of Polearm XP from the 6 missions.

Just finished it tonight. It took me two days to finish. Once you go to the way point you have to circle around 8-M radius until the crashed ship spawns. It takes a few minutes for it to spawn. Doesnt appear immediately.

Meant to say 80 -150 radius. Also dont forget to converse w/ Whip when you return. Otherwise you will not get a new waypoint.
