Thread: Restarting Quests?

I'm completely new to this FS Quest, so I really don't know much about it. But I took up the mission to get melee accuracy, but I've never used melee in all the time that I've played SWG other then to get to Smuggler. It's a completely useless skill for me. I wanted vehicle control, and I don't know why I didn't take it up.

So my question is, is there a way to restart the quests and take up the vehicle control one? Or am I stuck with this mission and I missed my chance to get vehicle control?
I was wondering if I surrender my Force-Sensitive box if it would then let me start the village over again?

Answer to the first question: Can you restart a quest.

The answer to your first question is no. You can only take one quest per village, per phase. What this means is that when youtake the quest to unlock the Melee Speed branch. You cannot take a quest to unlock another branch, and you cannot restart a quest. You are commited to the quest that you have accepted until the next phase.

You can take the quest when this phase comes again but you will have to wait until the turnover to do it. Since we are currently in phase 2 you will have to wait until phase two comes around again.

Answer to your second question: Surrendering your force xp

The answer to this is no. Even if you surrender your force xp you are still commited to the current quest. I highly advise that if you have commited force xp to a branch not to surrender it unless you are sure that you need to.

I hope that this has assisted you, may the force be with you always...

Ahh, thank you.
Wish I would've thought ahead. Now I'm stuck with a useless skill... one I'll never use as long as I play. Ah well... I guess it'll put me on box closer, anyhow. I was dead tired lastnight as it was... I couldn't think clearly.

Your very welcome, and I know just how you feel. I was in a rush one night and was not paying attention and picked Ranged Accuracy NPC by mistake and therefore was stuck with it. I use melee skills and no firearm skills at all. Therefore, I have zero firearm experience. However, I did the quest anyway because it was fun to beat the snot of ouf the Sith. You also, never know when an extra skill might just come in handy.

Then again, you never know when an unlocked skill just might come in handy. Anyway good luck to you,

Hehe, thanks. Maybe with the Smuggler Revamp we'll get some actual melee moves so we can use that melee tree we were forced to take.

Hmm... now to find some Sith camps...

That one box won't count towards your 24 boxes unless you fill the whole tree. You need 6 full trees to complete the FS grind.
