I've finally decided to bite the bullet and start converting XP into force XP.
Now I still have to unlock 4 trees and I dont want to screw up my current template. I thoughtI read somewheremonths ago that the caps on Force XP are about 10million or so, I maybe wrong, andsearch yealds no results.
So the question is what are the caps on force XP, and can I get to said caps without training any boxes? Basically I want to bank the XP needed to train all 6 trees in one go when I'm ready to unlock. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance.

i think the cap is 4 mil per tree.
you can trane the novice box since it dosn't take skill points.
you will be able to just keep converting till you have enough xp to trane all 24 boxes at once

you can save enough for all 4 branches 5.4 million then remember to save to the other tree for the other 2 branches.

you only need 4.9 mil + 50k xp for an entire profession. the cap is 5.1 mil, more than you need for it.
you will also need 2450000 xp + 50k xp for the 2 branches ofa new profession.
each branch is 1.225 mil xp.
the cap is more than you need for the entire prof

This is correct. You need 1.225 million XP for each branch, plus 50k for each novice box you need. Since the most you would ever need for an entiretree is 4.95 million, and the cap is 5.1 million, you can bank all your XP and then train all 25 boxes at once after unlocking your last branch (which is exactly what I'm doing).
One warning though (from experience). If you try to bank more than your cap, you will lose any additional XP above your cap. For example, if you have 5 million XP, and you try to bank 200k XP, you will cap at 5.1 million and lose 100k of XP.
