I have a character that has grinded all of the professions on the holocrons and mastered one profession after I got silent(Pre-Publish 9). Once the "Village" was introduced, I was granted two free FS unlocks. I chose my two trees, but I ended up sacrificing one of my trees because at the time I decided to drop and give up on the FS grind. So what I was wondering was, once I drop all of the skills in that one tree, am I still entitled to that tree still? I kept my other free unlock but I want to pick up my second unlock tree that I dropped. Or will I still need to do the quest to unlock it again?

Talk to pamenos (green rodian)in the village. He gives you an option to tell you what skills you've unlocked and can train in. Although I don't know anyone who gave up an FS line that they unlocked pre-pub 9, my guess would be that the FS tree is unlocked so you won't need to do the quest, however you will need to get the FS xp back to train in it.
