I know the lightsaber and decay kit can work together, but what does the decay kit do for it. Does it just keep it from decaying from after u die? Or does it also keep it from being damaged when you use it? If all it does is not decay it when you die, then i might sell it for a few million.

A lightsaber doesn't decay ever.. it's like a container. When you apply an anti-decay kit to it, it keeps your crystals / pearls from decaying.

Do the crystals decay if u clone, or do they decay also after being used to?

nothing decays on the saber ever, with or without a decay kit, it just causes the contents inside to not decay, such as color crystals/power crystals/pearls

Ok, sorry i guess I'm not getting something, sorry.........Ok, nothing decays in the lightsaber, except the crystals, so if i put the lightsaber in the anti-decay kit, will it keep the crystals from decaying when i clone(with the whole insurance thing), and will it also keep the crystals from decaying through wear and tear...like any other weapon...for example, 100/100 first use, after you use it for a lil bit, the crystals now say 98/100 etc.

use the kit on your saber right off, cause when you get a new saber, you can take the pearls / crystals out of the old one then delete the old saber...you'll get your anti decay kit back and then be able to use it on your new saber and since you had it on the first saber, your pearls / crystals have not decayed.

when you use a normal weapon, heres what happens. when you die, it loses condition, when you attack something, it loses condition bit by bit.

when you have a lightsaber, the lightsaber itself (the hilt, handle, whatever you wanna call it) doesnt decay. period. however, the crystals inside the hilt do. so each swing or death takes away from the life of the crystal. the crystals max health is dictated by te number on the white crystal (when a crystal says 1026, or whatever, it means it has 1026 condition)

now when you put an anti decay kit on a saber, the pearls dont decay from swings, nor do they decay from death. nothing decays, ever, as long as its attached. you can even attach powerups (to normal weapons i mean) and it wont lose condition.

so the ideal practice is to wait till you have a saber w/ very very good crystals/pearls in it to use the decay kit on it.

Can any one verify this? Cuz if this is so, then everyone that has an anti-decay kit, could use it on any weapon they currently have in hand.

Yes I can confirm it. Thing is, to get your adk back you must destroy the item it is used on. So you will not be putting it on just any old weapon, well you could be then you would just have to destroy it if you wanted to use it on another item. Works like a charm
