Force Sensitive Archive

Ok so once i unlock the ability to learn a skill at the village do i have to finish learning that skill before the end of the phase or can i keepo learning on it as i go...in other words once i have unlocked ranged combat defense, can i unlock the next one and still be able to climb the ranged tree too? or am i stuck if i dont finish up that tree before the end of the phase? just a question i had.

you can finish the tree whenever you want, no time limit.
