Thread: What is the best way to grind for a AT-ST?

I'm trying to grind FSXP and can never find any solo groups on my server. (Valcyn) I'm a Zabrak and believe it cost's 13k faction points for an AT-ST. I figure this is the best way to get higher level missions. Thank you for your time and input. /hi5

space is best, try also camping the poi on corellia for a little. Otherwise, missions on dant will give nice xp

find an imp city that has like 3 reb bases and (if you're a master elite combat profession) slaughter all the rebs...what server you on? I may have some wp's.
Try asking in the server forums also for wp's to these. Sometimes more people show up, just try to be fair. As a tkm, i'd kill all three base's soldiers b4 anyone else, so could have been stingy, but i'm much too nice

Do you take missions in space like taking missions from terminals on the ground?

Just declare and go to kessel or deep space and kill tier 5s and gunboats.
Also, you can get 2400fp or so at the Imperial Outpost on Dant, a scout trooper gives you a mission to kill a Droideka and deliver a message, then do the PSG mission and get the Holocon by the ruins of Exar Kun, then go to the Dant MO and talk to the record keeper and reset the planet and do the quests again.
1200FP per set at the Dant MO

I'm zab too, and on Shadowfire last I checked it was around 30k faction...I still haven't figured out this new system. I am leveling pilot so I do it all declared so I get faction, I'm almost 4333 so lookout tie-advanced, here I come.
Anyone know how to figure out the cheapest place to get an AT-ST?
I may just go smuggler to buy one, J/K. It may be less grinding in reality though.

Forgot this is my alt and not JTL enabled. I don't know what's worse...grinding FSXP without a group or grinding for an AT-ST.

I don't know how the POIs ar setup on your server, but in Chimaera there are several, heaviliy rebel populated POIs that are excellent for grinding. You should inspect the weapons research facility on Talus and the Imperial outpost (yes, not a typo) on Rori and see if they are rebel or imperial controlled. If it's the former you are in luck, as you can easily ground out a couple of 1000 FP by camping those spots for a buff session 
However, if you can't find any good POIs you can always grind some missions - on a good buff I usually get around 3k by running 9k faction missions on Dantooine. You'll get both money and FP this way

the cheapest place to get an atst depends on what server you are on. due to the GCW, faction bonuses are given depending on who is winning each planet. on farstar, the imps are winning on lok more than any other, so anyone wanting to buy things from the imp recruiter should do it here. so, on your server , you will have to go to each planet and find out the score in the GCW.
btw, last time i was zabrak (before the GCW when things were all priced the same) an ATST cost me about19k FP

Or, just hand your friendly neighbourhood Imperial Master Smuggler 3 mil or so... voila, faction grind done, ATST in datapad.

If you are Imperial go to Coronet Tyrnea and just circle the city killing as you go. Plenty of Rebel npc's.

Go to Dark Forces ok Lok. Its a IMP city that has a lot of REB bases placed for Faction grinding.
