Ok, i became glowy. I got my visit from the old man. I got attacked by 2 sith and got a data disk showing a location on Dant for a sith base. I went to the sith base and kill 3 more sith and received another disk with a WP to a location of a village on Dath. I goto Dath and find the village and talk to the village elder. He gives my 4 quests/tasks to do.

I do the combat quest/task, where i have to goto 8 WP for 10 times and report back to the captain. I finish and go to Premos <sp> and convert my various XP to FS XP. I then go to the FS trainer (forgot name) and train the novice combat prowess box.

Ok, this i understand completely. My question is, I did the above quest last night. Can i do another quest from another NPC and unlock another set of boxes (Enhancer??) or am i stuck on the Combat prowess box until the phase shifts.

Now i understand there are 4 new boxes to unlock each box (professions) has 4 trees in them just like any other profession. So 4 boxes with 4 trees in each equals 16 total trees to possible learn. In order to exit the village and move on.....You need 6 of these trees completed?????6 of any trees????.

You will have to wait until the next phase shift to take another quest.

I think the quest you took enables you to train in Ranged Accuracyso that means you can only train in whatever was rewarded to you for doing the quest. You need to figure out who to visit next to unlock more trees. Check out this link, you will get a lot of good info from it.

if you look ahead at all of the FS skill trees and what phase they are unlockable in, start banking the xp for them now. you can bank as much fs xp as you want. Just make sure it's in an area that you can use (If you want an enhanced reflexes skill, don't bank everything in combat prowess) and once you have unlocked the skills you want, then you may have enough xp banked to actually fill those branches.

To clairfy:

You start now, get Ranged Accuracy, and want to get Vehicular Control in the next phase.

Knowing this, you will need to get 1.225 mil Combat Prowess xp to fill Ranged Accuracy, After that, you can start banking Enhanced Reflexes xp so that when Phase 2 rolls around, you can just do the mission, unlock and then you will have the xp needed to fill the tree.

Working this way, you can finish all of youre XP before you can actually unlock all of your skills.

you can only get one unlock per phase. you can only get up to 7 trees total. (once you get 7 you can drop one and go back to 6). if you want 2 skills that are in the same phase (like melee accuracy and ranged defense) but they are in phase 3 or 4 (since your first unlock is phase one, i assume), you have two options:

1. just get the first 6 trees that you want, fill in the xp, then unlock jedi. then, when the desired skill becomes available, go back to the village, do that quest, unlock that skill and turn in the xp for that skill. you'll have 7 fs trees instead of 6. you can keep them all or drop the undesired one.

2. wait the extra phases needed for the desired unlock. Basically, if you start in phase one, but want two skills available in phase 3, then you have to wait an extra phase to unlock that skill. If you can't get the xp fast enough to finish in 6 phases, then you might as well hold off anyway.

Right now, I have been told numerous times, by numerous jedi that they don't notice a big difference from ranged/melee defense. But the CURB is right around the corner so you never know......

You are misinformed. You can unlock and fill all16 branches if you like. All you need is the spare skill points. When you become Padawan, you must keep minimum of 6 branches. The 7th branch comes into play if you only have six and want to susbstitute branches. THAT requires training in a 7th to drop another but there is no cap on how many branches you can fill. It is only limited by spare skill points.

Once you unlock a branch of a tree you can train it forever and ever.
