I'm sorry, I've read through ALL of the stickies thoroughly 2 times and I still seem to be VERY lost...I just got to the village today, no one there will help me, they're all AFK healing etc..I did the Quest from the guy who sends you on Patrol, but that's it, I don't even know what that was for. The Questions I have are:

1. How are "trees" unlocked? (Is it just by getting enough FS points and asking the Rodian to train you?)

2. I have no medic, crafting or entertaining skills, will I need to go up Med, Entertainer or Artisan to get out of the village?

3. I kind of understand phases, but not completely. Is it to where you can only unlock ONE tree per phase? And can I work on any "trees" at any time if I have already unlocked them?

4.What EXACTLY DO I need to do to get to Padawan Trials?

Sorry, I know this has been answered but I still do not understand how the Village works.(Again I have read through ALL of the stickies, just need someone to explain these points to me)

1. Each tree is made up of 4 branches.. The 4 trees are Combat Prowess, Enhanced Reflex, Heightened Senses, and Crafting. You unlock branches, not trees, by completing the appropriate quest. Once a branch is unlocked you are allowed to start spending FS xp on the skillboxes that comprise that branch. Paemos can tell you which branches you have unlocked.

2. Not if you stick to Combat Prowess and Enhanced Reflex skills. Those require weapons and combat xp to convert to FS xp.

3. You can only unlock one branch per phase, and only the branches for which quests are offered in that phase. Once unlocked you can train them at any time, there is no time limit and you don't have to fill them in the phase you unlocked them in.

4. You need to fill any 6 Force Sensitive branches, then complete the exit quest of killing Mellichae. You can then go meditate at a Force Shrine to start the Trials. Successful completion of all 16 trials qualifies you as a Jedi Padawan and potential BH fodder.

Hope this helps...

The SWG Forums. You will never find a more wretched hive of
catassery and buttmonkeyism. We must be cautious.

I did read the stickies, there were just some subjects that were unclear to me. Some people get certain things others do not..Stop being an ASS and posting unproductive posts...Don’t like a post? Don’t post on it, it goes away faster that way.

Part where i see most people getting confused is with the use of Trees and branches.

All of FS is organized in a way that you coul say that the 4 are Professions.

Combat Prowess , Enhanced Reflexes, Heightened Senses, and Crafting Mastery have the same structure as Professions.

Each of those above have 4 BRANCHES within them.

This means there is a total of 16 Branches. (You need 6 of these filled to do the exit quest then start the padawan trials)

You can only unlock 1 of these per phase by doing a quest.

I see too many people say that they have unlocked Combat prowess or Enhanced Reflexes which is untrue. You don't need to unlock Novices but you do have to unlock the branches within them to be able to train them.

The village system can be a bit tricky and with the way it's timegated I see nothing wrong with people that want to make sure they totally understand the system before rushing into it like alot of people seem to do.
