I posted this message on my server corbantis in regards to a FS grind question on CU and hope this helps you all.
Actually based on the level system that Devs are implementing FS grind will actually be a lot easiar now lol (well thought out devs). The trick will be to actually not go abouve the level creature you plan on grinding such as squilss etc..etc..
For example I played City of Heroes for awhile as well as matrux and as long as you do not go above the level thing you are fighting you get good even xp. I am thinking since SOE devs were so smart enough to actually implement this sytem withouth any thinking involved you should pick up a profession that is based on FS grinding such as Rifles-Pistoleer 0-0-4-4 and some medic keeping a lvl below 50 (unless they change Mokk level or Faction lvl NPCs).
Keeping a lvel of 40 is a viable solution since Tuskens and squills are level 30-40 also, be warned though you will not be a PVP lvl avatar and will most likely be 1 or 2 shot killed by other PvPers with higher lvls than you.

unless the new scheme can match 900k weapon exp in an hour, it will be a slower grind.

I grinded about 400K FS exp per buff when doing it.....and I have a hard time thinking this can be matched after CU as i have heard that grenades will do about 1/10 the dmg they do now =(
But then again I'm done with the FS grind now after 2.5 weeks of grinding (all of the 7.45 mil FS exp)

bah, grenade grinding is stupid. Have fun with the game.. dont "grind"
Jedi should not be the type of people to take the "easy" way out of the situation.
I am in the village and am not going to "grind" It will probably take me a little longer
to do these quests and gain the xp, but It will be worth it once I finally do.
For me this is half the fun, to becoming a jedi.

this is wrong. shudnt it be harder 2 get jedi and easier2 grind jedi. rather then easy 2 get jedi and harder 2 grind jedi

Why should it be "harder" or "easier" for either? I think it should be set so that someone that is a casual,2-4 x a week, player should be able to get play a Jedi in about nine months from starting a new character and take about 3-4 months after that to finish their template. People without a life, well, they should be able to go faster. Whatever the case, the finish line shouldn't be constantly moving away from everyone the way it has been. It is not fair for people that don't want to take the fastest route, but would like to enjoy the game. There should also be enough end-game that people don't get bored too fast.
Its just a game, it shouldn't be necessary that it be an obsession to get to the end game before the dev's change the rules again, which we all know they will.

it won't be easier, but you can go ahead and think that all you want.
