Ok.
Theory #1:
You see the reason that the old man takes sooooo long to get to you is because.... he is OLD. I mean think about it. he can't alk to good. he gotta walk the 5k from the village. raise money for a starport. go to the pc. that could take forever.
Theory #2
He is a dev. I mean think about it (yes i know i said that b4). We all know the DJM's in the MO r devs right. O... u didn't know that. well..... they r.

There r no devs. it is a neural net. a "virtual eutopia". that explains a lot of things.

There is no old man. it's a myth. i am waiting 4 him at this very moment. it is probably a myth. all the jedi just used exploits. or r invited by devs.
any dev that reads this please send spetygeyy the old man (or if u r the dev that is the old man come to me) or any component of the neural net just get me the old man.

take the red pill and you will see just how deep the rabbit hole (SWG) goes
take the blue pill and your char will wake up never remembering about the force
i'm waiting too for the old man been so for 20hrs, haven't been logged in that whole time though

Don't wait for him. I had to go to work right after I got glowie. I logged in for about 40 minutes two days after (I do 12 hour shifts so I didnt log in the other day)and the old man appeared. Totally unexpected, I was on my porch pulling my droid out to do inventory. Today, one day after the old man, I was shopping for clothes to put skill tapes in and while having my droid out again messing with inventory the Sith attacked me.
A watched pot never boils. Staying in game to wait on the old man will make it seem like an eternity. Log out, go do something, or get on with whatever you usually do in game, but don't "wait" on him. Same thing for the Sith.

Every time I have seen the old man he is hauling butt. Come on that guy can move.
There are no devs. or yes maybe they just are ingame.

hahaah hes not coming i saw him standing in the imperial outpoststar porton dantoonie he was there when i went sf and when i went back to combatant 3 hrs later lol

I honestly don't think that they are Dev's. I've fought a few before, and they aggro just like creatures and also act like creatures do. They just walk in a perfectly straight line towards MO when they are on Dant unless agroed. Once they kill their target, they just rinse and repeat. They are just creatures I think. Now if Darth Vador or the Emperor was to start walking around, that would probably be a Dev. (and it would kick a$$)
