So, I see the two red dots appear on my radar target one of them, and sure enough it's the Sith jumping me right on time. As I turn around though I wind up with a C++ runtime error, yay me. The character in question is pretty much a dedicated crafter, I have some extra points sunk in to unarmed right now and was going to rely on nuetron pixie to get me through the fight... of course, I couldn't hit the nuetron pixie, so I log back in just as I'm getting turned in to a corpse.
Not knowing what I should do I immediately clone, shuttle back to where I was and run out to find one of hte Sith still standing and the other dead, but still there (I know I'm the one that killed him cause no one else was around and he was dead wheni logged back in). So, I dispatch the second sith, search the corpses and low and behold, there's the disk... so I'm thinking, "Okay, cool. You died and what not, but still got the disk... life is good."
I hop over to Coronet, get some buffs, plop back to my home rock (Talus, but don't think it's relevant) and go to pop the disk.. only to be told that I can't make sense of the information on it. Bugged disk == Suckage. I'm panicking a bit, cause obviously it's not supposed to happen this way, then I check my inventory on a whim and realize that my force crystal is gone. Okay, Old dude wants you to protect it, Sith come to take it... and when they kill you, they do. I'm sure there's redemption here somewhere. There was, I wound up going and running some errands and shuttle back to my home city and sure enough the Old Man shows up again (first shuttle to a PC since the whole thing got borked) and hands me a new crystal. Now though, when I look at my mission journal, I don't see anything in there at all unless I check to show completed missions where it tells me that I have completed the Force Sensitive quest: "Sith Shadow Ambush".
My question is this... Many folks have told me that I just need to delete the disk and that a new Sith spawn will come. But all of those same people were surprised (or seemed like it) that I got the old man again as well... there's also the matter of hte quest showing up as completed already. So, the question becomes, will I get another Sith spawn if I give it time or should I be sending in a ticket in hopes to get this resolved before Phase 4 is over with?
Thanks in advance.
