ok i have a question or rather many hehe.

i went glowy 4 days ago, once through everything to get to the village i talked to captain S. and he offered me two choises of quests, i took the mellee def. and did the kill 25 pirates/50 outlaws. Now heres the tricky part that i dont understand, first beofre doing missions i convered xp (which i should of waited i guess, lol) when the quest was finished it said i had opened the brank of reflexes but when i went to train both reflexes and combat was available for me to train i didnt know any better and trained in both, so now i am novice in both. I didnt know i could do this or what to do now, can i go up both? or only the mellee def branch under reflexes?

you will probably want to learn branches in both reflex and combat, so its not a bad thing. You can only train the tree you unlocked though. Even though you'll see the xp show up like you're ready to train in all columns, the trainer will only let you train in a solumn you unlocked.
