If you cant figure out a way to get to them you can try this. Get a friend to duel you. Have him stand close to the building near the sith. Use an area attack on your friend and hopefully it will hit the sith. Once you do it should agro you and move away from the building toward you and your friend can move away and end duel.

Did you try dueling like a pistoleer and have them do fan-shot at you in the sith's direction?
