Hi all
Sorry if i am asking a daft question and if its in the forums i couldnt find it so please dont all shoot me down, i have just had the visit from the old man but before i set myself on the journey to Jedi i would like advice on profession and if it affects theoutcome once you become a Jedi. Currently i am MBH and Master Carbineer so heavily ranged but as Jedi are more melee based i wondered if i should consider doing TKM before moving on with my Jedi training, if it would make a difference or if theres any point ?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated and again sorry if i am covering same old ground
thanks in advance

first of all, keep mbh while you do the villiage quests and save up about 5-6mil for
the grind...then you will want to go master commando (because proton grenades
are SOOOOO much better than thermals) and if carbineer doesnt work out very
well with commando, do tkm with commando (thats what i am and it rocks for
grinding FS xp) after your done grinding out your professions, go buy lots and
lots of crates of grenades and max damage powerups. then your all set to go do
giant baz nitch missions on dathomir.
you may also want to get some brandy and/or vagerian canape, it realy helps.
and be in a solo group while your getting baz nitch missions

SInce the skills your should be getting from the village will be melee based (melee speed and accuracy) so that you have every advantage on your side as a Jedi, you might find it helpful to be a TKM as you grind. The Ranged/Melee defenses of a TMK/Commando compliment the ranged/melee defense you'll pickup from the village nicely and will help you stay alive longer in the missions that involve Sith Thugs.
Just make sure that, if you want to be a Jedi, don't pick up skills like Ranged Accuracy/Defense since that won't help you as a Jedi.
