I spent prolly have my playing time this weekend in the village thanks to the sith invaders. At first I felt like this made sense, that I should just suck it up and wait. But after spending 30 + minutes in there everytime I wanted to convert xp, I realized that the Sith aren't aggroing me and attacking, a lot of the time they aggro me and then run around the Village while I'm stuck "In Combat" and can't turn in xp. Is this just some kind of way to slow down people's grinding? Because that's all it seems good for.
Let me be clear, I was not being attacked, but since some Sith, somewhere in the village had attacked me and was still alive, I could not turn in XP. I know this is happening to a lot of people.
At this point, this seems to be a bug. WIth every other MOB in the game, once your out of range, they generally peel away and leave you alone. Not with the Village Sith. This is a little rediculous and I'd like to see something done about it.
/rant off.

You have to go quite a way out of range before that happens. Running around getting random aggro which you can't lose is very annoying and can happen anywhere. This is an issue which affects the game in other areas too; it's just that in the village there is less possibility to lose the aggro and so people notice it more.
Personally I'd rather see a system whereby once you are aggroed and flip into combat you can /peace and will not flip back into combat unless an attack hits you or causes you to dodge/block/counter. That way you could choose not to fight but if a mob actually manages to land a shot you would still be forced into battle and be unable to do all the things you quite rightly can't do while fighting.
For now, log out for three minutes or get a friend to incap you. Should lose your aggro.
