Yeah, honestly for the most part - when you're working on your Jedi, most skills will have very little impact or significant benefit to your Jedi.
The one I like the mostis Vehicle Control (noticeable difference if you train it fast). Just because we all spend so much time on our bikes.
Survival would be nice I guess, for the +5 terrain negotiation and the camps, but not necessary - in general you're going to want to head back to the safety of a town when not grinding, and the terrain negotiation can be achieved with some Travel Biscuits made with good resources.
I mean, do what you like, but in general the FS skills won't really make you a lot better Jedi or provide significant benefit.
Unless I'm mistaken, the Survival branch in Phase 1 will give you the use of small camps, and some terrain negotiation, however - you CANNOT harvest, as the /harvest command is granted at Novice Scout. You might have a harvest bonus, but you cannot actually use the /harvest command without spending 15 skill points for Novice Scout.

Taking Waryyrr's advice, you'd want this one:
Melee Defence (phase 4)
Pursuation (phase 1)
Melee Speed (phase 2)
Melee Accuracy (phase 3)
NOTHING (phase 4)
Scout (phase I)
Vehicle Control (phase 2)
Scout is a good skill cuz you get terrain negotiation and you can hunt for hides/etc and make camps. All helpful skills if you dont have 15 SP to spare for scout ( I dont). You wouldn't have ranged defense with this template, we'll see what other people have to say about its necessity or lack there of.
Melee Defence (phase 4)
Pursuation (phase 1)
Melee Speed (phase 2)
Melee Accuracy (phase 3)
NOTHING (phase 4)
NOTHING (phase I)
Vehicle Control (phase 2)
Luck (phase 3)
No matter what, I'd advise don't get Luck. It is hotly debated as to whether or not it works. If you're gonna wait until Phase 3 to finish, you might as well go ahead and get Ranged Defense. I'm guessing it will help you stay alive longer as a Padawan.

just wanted to hear a little more feedback on this.
So FS skills have little benefit to Jedi except for the vehicular control? Any opinions (from Jedi or very the very knowledgable only please) to the contrary? Just curious.
