One of the reasons I've avoided "going glowy" is because I don't want to lose the professions that I've already worked really hard to build up. Is there a diagram somewhere that shows the Jedi skills tree and how many SP are used? If I work to master Jedi, will I end up dropping most/all of my other skills?

you need 1 sp per fs skill box, so 24 to reach padawan. You then need I believe at least 200 or so to become knight

so yes you will end up pretty much pure jedi.

if you want to see how it works
go to http://www.padawan.org/

And yes, if you wish to go the whole hog, you will end up dropping most of your skills. But you get a second character, so can always regrind later.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that site before. That's a big help.

Yeah, I know. I was hoping I could keep my current crafting profession and use the unlock to have others. =o)> Plus the crafting grind was no where near as fun as the combat grind to me.

The thing is, once you meet the old man and kill the wimpy sith you next see you don't every have to go to the village - no skill points lost as you never unlock anything

In fact you can go and do the quests and never FS points into skill boxes

Or you can spend a 'few' points and enhance your non-padawan/jedi skills (you might want to enhance your crafting or healing or combat skills for example) - as was stated earlier, each 'column' costs 4 skill points so that is potentially very bug gains for a very few skill points

Anytime you want to stop you just stop
