Thread: FS Ranged speed: does it do anything for Jedi?

Hey all,

I've been pondering what skills to train up for my FS unlock, and have a question. I hear that ranged accuracy works with Force powers, but am wondering if ranged speed is supposed to help with powers (or is planned to down the line)?

Cheers for any help.

No one else replied so i thought i'd tell you all i know. Which isnt much

But i have heard that yes, ranged speed does add to attacks such as Force Lightining, but i dont know of any tests etc to prove this.

I know ranged speed definatly does work for normal weapons, and seeing as how there are general ranged mods in the powers skill, i would think it would work.

Saber Throw is and always will be a melee based attack. Force Powers are considered Ranged attacks.

Thanks for the info guys.

I'm in no real rush to get Jedi, so am happy to bank my XP and wait until the last minute to select skills.

Although I am definitely going melee accuracy & speed and melee defense (already unlocked). I have also unlocked ranged accuaracy as well. I'll do ranged defense in phase 3 and do ranged speed in phase 4. In the meantime, I am doing survival and vehicle control for something to do in phases 1 and 2.

Hopefully by the time I do Jedi, ranged speed will be useful ( I hear it's broken atm).

Cheers,

currently:

Ranged Accuracy works for force attacks

Melee speed and accuracy work for LS attacks

Ranged speed currently doesnt work for force attacks, apprently a bug,but might be "working as intended"

no no no no no lol .. Ranged Speed DOES NOT EFFECT FORCE POWERS!!!!!! Saber Throw IS NOT partof a ranged attack.

Ranged Speed will NOT help force powers, and is working as intended. It is NOT a bug. Your attacks for Powers are on a time counter, and speed will not speed it up!

Ranged Accuracy does work for Force Powers, aswell as General Ranged Accuracy CA's.
