Hello all,

I'm rather new to being FS, I just completed my first village quest, and unlocked 'Force Reflexes'. I was hoping someone could help me by giving me advice for my template as I am a little confused at this point. My template at the moment is;

Bralwer 3|4|4|4

Master Swordsman

Marksman 0|0|0|4

Medic 0|4|0|0

Master Combat Medic

Novice Force Reflexes

CL 80 with 0 remaining skill points

What I'm wondering mainly isthree things-

One- I know I'll have to drop some things next time I trade in xp to get my next skill point, but in what order should I drop what skills, to do as little CL dropping as possible?

Two- What should I train up in the force reflexes? Do I need to master it? teir four seems to be for scouts or something.

and Three- Any advice on the template for future unlocks and just in general would be appreciated. I'd like my jedi to focus on combat, with Lightsaber action focused on more so than force powers if I have to choose between the two.

Thanks for your time, and sorry for the n00bishness,

Welcome to the village

1 - You dont need to drop any skill until you actually want the jedi skill box...and the jedi tree's as far as I'm aware have no xp cap, meaning you can simply keep trading in xp, until you have enough to unlock a whole tree...in hindsight this is what I should have done.

2 - Enhanced Reflexes tree is combat based, incuding skills such as Ranged and Melee defence, these are very usefull for a jedi, and you can trade in your combat/ swords/ pistol/ rifle/ carbines xp for fs xp in this tree. Not to do with scout, although as you have seen survival could be mistaken for a scout skill.

3 - Template is entirely your call...personally if you want to go master sabers, I'd go for Combat Prowess Master with Ranged and Melee defence in Enhanced Reflexes..but thats just me and my opinion...I'd suggest you have a surf around the web and see what you can dig up on the details for different templates, I know there's a good sticky in the Jedi profession forum.

Whichever way you go, good luck, and dont burn yourself out by grinding the whole time

Hi Sosar,

1. Like Arganai said you do not need to train the FS skill boxes as soon as you have enough FS XP. You can let your FS XP build until you have enough to train all of the skill boxes in one go. This is what I am doing now.

2. If you have unlocked reflexes in phase 1 you have only unlocked the survival branch of reflexes, not the whole tree. You can only unlock 1 branch per phase.

3. As Jedi are melee combat based I am going for Melee speed/accuracy/defence, Ranged Defence, Survival and vehicle control. Ranged accuracy and speed are worthless as a full template jedi. Survival gives youa bit of terrain negotiation so it is a bit scout based and vehicle control...just cos I had one left and I thought it might help get away from Bounty Hunters when I'm a Padawan.

To touch on this, it's my understanding that these skill trees help with Powers (choke, lightning, etc.) If this is true, these trees would be worth it for a Jedi doing Master Powers.

Can anyone confirm this either way? I would be interested to knowmyself. It isn't mentioned ib the Jedi path guide in the sticky at the top of this page so it will need to be changed if this is the case.

Ranged Accuracy : Increases Force Power Accuracy

Ranged Speed: WORTHLESS For a Jedi. It WILL NOT help speed up your powers, I repeat it WILL NOT HELP. ( Alot of people say its bugged .. but I promise you 100% it is working as intended )

Totally up to you really .. but if you really think about the FS Skills to unlock .. Prowess has more jedi focus'd abilities. Melee Accuracy/Speed & Ranged Accuracy can all help most jedi in some form or another. While in Reflexes the Melee and Ranged Defense lines are almost a MUST to have, just for the fact that every bit counts. Mastering one or the other isnt needed just be sure you get the skills you want. They will be with you forever

My two cents: 4x44 Prowess / 44xx Reflexes / 4xxx Senses are my 6.

It also comes down to do you want a bit of a better temp or a faster unlock. For me, I'm picking up ranged spd and acc, instead of waiting 6 more weeks for a bit more melee acc and spd. Worth it in my book, but maybe/mabye not in yours.

im almost positive that you can go back, even after you have jedi, and train in the FS skills (correct me if im wrong) and if thats the case i wouldnt worry about anything now, just do the easiest things yo ucan to knock it out of the way and then go back if you really want to when the time comes for that skill tree to be unlocked.

just remember not to do too much... ive tried the village twice so far... gotten about half way and was so tired of the grind i decided to hunt jedi rather than be a jedi -.-..... i think im going back for a third try though... jedi is flashy.... and thats what i am.... in pvp i used the coolest looking attacks rather than the ones that do the most damage.... cus im not very good in the first place... and if im gonna go down i mind as well go down in style

Yes u can change your fs skills after becoming jedi...just have to train a full 7th branch then you can drop the one you want. You always need 6 branches filled.
