I was just about to ask Son Gouki about these he stated awhile back that he was going to ask about this but haven't heard anything yet. so maybe he can answer it for us now.

We need to try and figure out where these things come from if it isn't phase 3.

As far as I know they DO come from the phase 3 combat quest. I mean thats where I got mine. Me and a friend did phase three and got some teal colored crystals, not sure if the color will change for each time phase 3 comes around or not but teal is still fairly cool.

No they don't change. The first time we did phase 3 it was the teal one also. So i think the poster meant as where all the other special color crystals may be. There is a post on the names of the unique crystals and we thought that this time around on phase 3 it would change but it didn't.

I honestly thought they would give everyone they're own crystal as a Christmas Present, but we all know that wasn't the case. I want Qui-Gon's Devotion , and many others, i just dont remember the names.

Well, there's a couple of possibilties:
1) Phase 3 Melee Accuracy quest rewards are bugged and only the teal, Sunrider's Destiny crystal is being offered for some unknown reason, beyond our control.
2) There's something to the Melee Accuracy quest we're not getting - or doing - in order to get the different color. I had a theory about having your previously obtained crystal (teal, sunrider's destiny) in your main inventory when completing the quest with a friend. ie. the game realizes you've now done it TWICE and you get a new color crystal, rather than a duplicate of the one in your main inventory. Has anyone tried that? Having Sunrider's Destiny in your main inventory while completing the quest a 2nd time?
i.e. no special color crystals in inventory = sunrider's destiny by default.
sunrider's destiny in main inventory + complete quest again = qui-gon's devotion (or any random crystal)
qui-gon's devotion is equivalent to sunrider's destiny + another completion, so having IT in your inventory when completing the quest again gives you Maul's Blood, and so and so forth.
Repeat until all crystals are obtained through various combinations of crystals in your inventory (showing you've done it many times).
3) There's some other means of obtaining them outside of the Melee Accuracy Quest, perhaps grouping with others to complete other quests, but no one's figured that out.
I wish we'd find out how to get these other crystals....some of those names were so cool, and new lightsaber colors are fun.

I tried to repeat the phase 3 quest a 2nd time. I could not lower the shields or capture the commander. Although it did appear that the quest giver gave me the quest. Yes there was a list of 19 special colors. So there are still 18 out there. Lets hear what you've tried and mabe we can get something going with this.

You bring up a good point...you can only take the quest once per phase.
So, no repeat runs within the same phase....grrrrrr. that's lame. You can help, but you can't actually get a group reward again.
It WILL take 4 years to have all these crystals show up....and we may be missing the chance to get 1 of them...and wait another 4 years to have it come around again...

Mabe theres quest npcs out there that let you trade in your sunrider's for theirs. We just need to have the community as a whole keep a watchful eye out for anything out of the ordinary. You never know when the devs might put the other colors in.

Yes, it's the guy in the cave on Dant. There's also the Dark Jedi who's outside by the edge of the ruins. One inside cave is Jedi, the one outside is Dark Jedi. It used to be that the Rebels could do both quests, not sure if it's changed since then. But Imps couldn't and still can't, i don't think, do the Light Jedi's quests inside the cave.
