I just looked through a LOT of pages in this thread to compile a little list of Top Old Man Questions, done in my own particular idiom of course..

This applies post CU. If anyone notices anything drastically different please let me know via PM.

A: It is as long as it takes him to get there- usually within 24 hours. He IS old and susceptible to fits of dementia, but fortunately he has a distinct motivation to seek you out and get rid of the crystal he must keep hidden. Keep in mind now there really is no place to keep a crystal hidden in a robe so I'll leave it up to your imagination as to where he might be keeping it that would motivate him to seek you out asap....

A: No. Give an old man a break, he'll get there....relax. These make me feel a lot like Pappa Smurf when they'd all be hikin it out somewhere and they'd all start asking him "Is it much farther Pappa Smurf?"

A: See previous answer All sightings after one of these is purely coincidental.

A: Yes he will - keep an eye on your spatial chat tho or you could miss him.

A: Yes he will - keep an eye on spatial chat and radar or you could miss him.

A: Yes - he still has that uncomfortable crystal to give you. He will most certainly be back although a lot of times I feel like saying, "Nope sorry bro" lol that's mean.

A: Yes he will, but he won't come inside. He will attempt to chat with you from outside so again keep an eye on your spatial chat. I wouldn't reccommend sitting in your house anyway.

A: They will come for the crystal (Lord knows why after where it's been) when they get there. Again usually anywhere from 24 hours to 3 days.

Do your thing, go about your business and in general just "move along" and he will show up.

A: This is a long-time issue. Make sure you kill all the Sith before looting their corpses. Looting while fighting is rumored to affect this. Ultimately you can delete the bogus datapad and the old man will revisit you again, followed by another sith attack and another looted datapad. You may need to repeat this process several times before looting a readable datapad.

A: Submit a ticket in game under the "I'm stuck" category and a CSR will have to move it for you. Same thing applies to crystals in the exit quest.

A: Delete the wp, delete the crystal, wait for the old man to visit and give you a new crystal and start over.

P.S. please don't sticky this so people will read it hehe.

I have 3 characters, and for me all 3 were exactly the same.

Char 1 - 24 hours from the glowy to the old man visit. Exactly 24 hours almost to the minute.

Char 2 - 24 hours from the glowy to the old man visit. Exactly 24 hours almost to the minute.

Char 3 - 24 hours from the glowy to the old man visit. Exactly 24 hours almost to the minute.

From the old man to the Sith visit.

Char 1 - 4 hours.

Char 2 - 24 hours.

Char 3 - 48 hours.

From Completing 6th branch to old man 2nd visit

Char 1 - 24 hours almost to the minute.

Char 2 - Not there yet!

Char 3 - If 2 is not there, its gonna be a long time for number 3!

Of course I liken the old man to Gargamel and everyone asking about him is like BrainyaskingSmurfette out for a date while she is drooling over Hefty smurf. All the while Papa Smurf is standing there watching all this and thinking to himself "What a bunch of id10ts!!!"

In all realitySmurfette is really a male smurf that made the trip to Trinidad.....

Makes you wonder, if she was the last one to show up, how did you get a population of all male smurfs??

There were what, 100 or so smurfs, why didn't they all just gank Gargamel?

Of course none of this has anything to do with the original posting....and i have now wasted 1 min of your time reading this.

Starting to get a bit R-rated here, but what the heck - I'll go there. For the benefit of any virginal ears out there, scoot!

I only briefly watched the show from time to time but I always wondered why they were all blue? I mean, I've heard of blue balls, but was Smurfette just so cruel that she never uncrossed her legs? Is that the end result - years of enforced celibacy, gone wrong?

But the Trinidad comment makes sense. Maybe Smurfette was a post-op trans-sexual and has the same problem. Or, maybe "she" is really just a gay cross-dresser and the rest of the Smurfs just haven't been willing to "walk on the wild side" just yet.

Hmm... answers a lot of nagging questions.
