I'm not sure I follow this logic. From what I understand the claims, from jedi, that they are underpowered are based upon their strength as compared to 'normal' profs, not as compared to other stronger jedi.
Yes, Obi-wan was defeated...by Vader, a sith lord.
Yes, Vader was defefeated...by the combined efforts of Luke (a capable jedi to say the least) and Emporer Palpatine, the sith master.
I'm not trying to argue that jedi should be more powerful, simply pointing out the flaw in your supporting arguement. Both of the jedi you mentioned were defeated, but neither was defeated by anything less than a powerful jedi.

While you have a pretty good argument about Jedi and their relationship with the game for the most part of your thread, you fail to mention that Obi Wan and Darth Vader were defeated by Jedi too.

Train your skills AFTER you get ALL the exp. It will help you greatly. Instead of slowly dropping other skills (If you have to) train all your FS at once and go to Mellichae and etc. That's what i'm going to do. Get all exp, unlock my 6, then train all of them up, and find a good group and kill Mellichae.

well, Jedi kill Jedi that's fine. But when they do, they want the killer's temp nerfed. I didn't see obi-wan come back and ask to nerf the sith, nor did i see vader nerf luke (unless you count the whole hand for a hand thing). Its just that most Jedi have become whiny little snots, being a jedi doesn't appeal to me anymore. Yes, i wanted to be one when they were rare, and seeing a wookiee jedi was like wow! But now, you can't throw a noob without hitting a jedi. IMO, statis should cover for every little whine they have. So what if you can't heal better than someone who is in the healing arts, like a doc or a CM. Makes me sick everytime i see a Jedi calling for a nerf when he thinks he should be king. Most jedi have no idea what they are doing. Very few i see i will complement. But those few are as rare as grass on tat.

first of all, I think you're just making up the fact that you repeatedly dropped all those fs boxes because you saw some jedi acting inappropriately. Why do I think you're making this up? because if you weren't...... well I wont go there.
secondly, grow up and stop generalizing. And you act as if you would be the only self restrained jedi if you became one. How self absorbed

I have, so far, deleted my FS blocks TWICE when i was less than 8 blocks from completing them. Everytime i get close, I see some Jedi acting like an ______ and i don't want to be associated with that crowd. Now, i know i may get flamed, and that's ok. But being a Jedi doesn't mean acting all 'uber' and cry when something doesn't work your way. I may go jedi one day in the future, but with grinding the FS blocks yet a third time, i am in no hurry to get it, and i believe it will make me appreciate it more than those who just burn thru it with no knowledge of the game mechanics.

Every proffs has their black sheep. Do you delete all your skills in a proff when you see someone that has it and they act bad/uber/exploit etc?

of course not, but not ever ranger i know go in public and relish the fact he's a master ranger and noone else is. Can't say the same for most Jedi. I don't know if you noticed or not, but the Jedi thread is all about who can cry the loudest. Jedi is not the UBER profession as everyone wants it to be. Yes, you do have some good skills with Jedi, but even obi-wan and vader were defeated. Which goes to show not every Jedi is invincible, which the Jedi thread people want to be.

Thing now is though, everyone is a jedi so its not sepcial anymore

When the village first came out I did4 quest, and grinded 5 rows of FS xp. Training as I went. For no apparent reason I was bugged come next phase. I couldnt get exp at all, and the village npcs said I already had a quest for them! Lost and confused I came to grips that my dreams of Jedi would be poseponed until I got some help. With time I actually started dropped the FS boxes. Wasnt until about a month or two ago that I was finally able to get exp again and it even let me take a quest, lol. Regrinded the exp and am where I am at today.. 5 Quest done, 6 Rows of FS Xp grinded. Come Phase 1 I'll finally be done, once and for all.. But that puts me at a total of 11 rows grinded, and my xp was bugged during those double xp weeks so I didnt get to enjoy that any!
I am just happy to almost be done.

I'm just afraid that once i get my glowstick, people wil automatically assume i'm a showoff and a cry baby. Seeing as how i've done all the POIs and currently mastering all the profs (12/34 not at once), i am far from a baby. Its sad that most people think Jedi is the onyl way to go when there is so much more out there.
