once u get the ppl do u have to wlk em all the way back to village? or can u ride in? and how many ppl do u have to save?

You have to walk them back as if you get out of a certain range you will fail (similar to the commander capture mission in phase 3) and there are a total of 5 who need to be rescued - whole thing can be done in around 1 - 1 1/2 hours barring bugs and decent terain negotiation
