Thread: Will These Badges Get Me Glowie???

As the search is down, I've not been able to look this up, so apologies if it has been asked before.

I have the following content badges:

Rebel Themepark

Nyms Themepark

Mystery of Mos Eiseley (Or something like that)

Foe of Gorax

I realise I need one more, but I'm unsure whether the Mos Eiseley badge counts.

Also, I've done the Marksman and Scout quests and have received no badge. Pretty rubbish really. Or am I missing something???

Any help would be appreciated, as I really want to get to glowie.

the Mos Eisley badge won't count as a content badge. Not sure about the Gorax counting but I'd recommend the warren badges if your at least a CL62 you should be able to walk through and you can get two badges. Then you can see if the Gorax counts

YESthe Mos Eisley badges DO count as content badges. I did the scout, brawler, and marksman quests; got 2 badges. That was all I needed to get glowie. I did them just for fun because I did not realize that they counted. I only needed 2 badges and had already planned on doing the Warren. As soon as I recieved them I /checkforce and it says "The Force is with you". So I know for a fact that they do count as content badges. I have since then done the Warren anyways just for fun (if you want to call that pain of an arse maze fun) but it was after i became glowie and had already been to the villiage several times.

So, how did you get the Marksman and Scout badges??? Do you have to do all the other quests too???

And yes, I have got all the POI badges.

I'm going after an Ancient Krayt tonight, so I'll know then whether they count or not.

you can either go talk to the mayor before you do the quest and he will give you a waypoint to the NPC that will give you the quest or (like I did) just run up on them and start doing the quest. You will not get the badge until you go talk to the mayor AFTER you complete the quest.

There are 5 (I think) total Mos Eisley quests and nosir you do not have to do all of them. Some of them are bugged so you will not get a badge for them anyway. There is one for each of the starting professions. I dont have Novice Entertainer or Novice Artisan so I could not do those quests. I did the Marksman (got a badge), the Brawler (did not get a badge), and the Scout (got a badge) quests. You must have the novice skill to do each quest in each one.

As far as I know the Ancient Krayt Dragon Hunter Badge is counted toward the content badges required for getting glowie.

How weird...

I did both of these quests (Marksman and Scout) last night and got no badges at all. However, after the Marksman quest, I went back to the Mayor and conversed with him and got the Mystery of Mos Eiseley Badge. No mention of the Marksman badge at all.

What are the badges called for the Marksman and Scout quests???

The marksman badge is the Mystery of Mos Eisley. i can't remember what the scout one is called. I have heard it is different for everyone because just like I got one for scout and marksman and you did no tget one for scout. I would try some of the other ones just to see. They are all extremely easy. If nothing else pick up the novice profession just to do the quest and then drop it as soon as you get done. I didn't want to do that because that would have meant that I would have to surrender some skills. I have zero skill points left with my template.
