Thread: What the heck is a themepark?!?!?!
Well Jabba's theme park you talk to the NPC on the left side when you walk through the big door. Make sure you have positive jabba faction or you can't start. Oh goto Jabba's Palace POI on tatooine.
To start the rebel theme park, go to Corellia and travel to the hidden(could be secret) rebel base POI. Make sure you're at least combatant for the rebel side and talk to C3PO.
To start the Imperial them Park go to Naboo and travel to the Emperor's Retreat POI and talk to the person just inside the door. Make sure you're at least combatant for the Imperial side for this.

For Nym's, go to Nym's palace on Lok, go talk to the 2 fuzzbots standing near Nym and then to Nym himself. Did it pre-curb, but my recollection is a 3 tier quest, easy to solo. Reward was Nym's carbine, which morphed into a useless weapon post CURB. Much quicker than Imp and Jabba which was an endless series of kill this, deliver that, bring so and so back...
Also, on the old themeparks, here's a tip. On the "escort this guy back" missions, after you talk to the target, get on your bike and book back to your mission giver. There is no proximity requirement (unlike say some of the new Kashyyk escort missions).
Hope this helps...

If you dont know what a themepark is you havent played the game long enough to waste your time grinding.
Whilst blunt it is a good point. There's a LOT more to SWG than Jedi so going straight for the grind to Jedi means your missing out on a lot of other stuff. (quests, Roleplaying, having fun with non-jedi proffs etc.)

why the holo grined was > than what we have now nothing agianst the poster he new and dose not know but the divs said a jedi should be will verst in the game thus why we did holos
Becoming a Jedi should only be done by folks who have explored a the many other wonderful aspects of the game. I don't think the hologrind was a good way to enforce this though since people were just AFKing the grinds and like the current FS grind, it took all the fun out of the experience. But yeah you shouldn't be thinking about jedi till you have truely PLAYED the rest of the game.
When I first started the game, this was my mindset. I knew that I shouldn't be a Jedi untill I had played the rest of the game. It was my feeling that the road to Jedi should be a long way off, and once getting FS, it should continue to be a long, hard-earned achievement. I got most of the badges for getting FS just by exploring for the fun of visiting famous Star Wars locations, although it was really disapointing that I couldnt enter kenobi's house. As far as professions, I started out with the desire to become a master tailor so I couls make and wear cool outfits seen in the films, or make up my own look. After all, we don't wear the same thing every day of our lives in real life, so why do it in the game.
Unfourtunately the CU made me decide to abandon that wish. And after testing out master Tailor on TC, I realized that at higher levels, I just didnt like all the hassles involved in being a tailor. I never really liked surveying and sampling, and I always had difficulty finding a good enough consentration of resources to throw down a harvester. And then some things require a factory. Crafting just wasnt as much fun as it used to be. So I went all combat/healing and had myself a blast!
My favorite thing has been doing quests that make me feel like I am really a part of the Star Wars Saga and that I am making a difference. Especialy Mort's Clone Armor Quest. Just for fun, every now and then I will stop in the Dearic Cantina to have a couple laughs with Mort. It always puts a smile on my face.
So anyway, yeah, do some content. Thats where the real fun and enjoyment happens. Now if only the FS and Jedi grinds were quest based...
