This may be a silly question but how do you know how many sith you have killed. I just took part in this quest and thought i had got shots on enough of the sith but Sarguillo tells me to keep going> Do you have to be part of a group for this to work

thanks

once you kill enough sith the quest will update for you telling you that you unlocked the branch you wanted and thats it but it will pop up on your screen to let you know. dont worry.

Each time you actually get credit for a kill on a sith it pops up a system message saying you killed one and telling how many you have left to kill. I'd advise getting a group, cause whatever group does the most damage gets credit for the kill and everyone else is screwed. Its a LOT harder solo

I really have a problem withthis unlock.

The ranged characters are clearing up all the kills on Chimaera,Melee toons never get a chance to get near enough to earn credit for a kill.

And yes, i've tried it in a large group, still doesn't help.

The comments some people make "lets get all the kills before the rest of these loosers" really don't help either.

I just hope that the ranged people all get their kills soon, and bugger off so the melee characters get a chance at it.

And WHY oh WHY are there Jedi using their Lightsabres to kill the Sith Pirates? Surely they've already unlocked?!

Actually, they may not have unlocked that particular skill branch, and is looking to change aroudn their templates, or is doing the quest to get the quest rewards.

Then, of course, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a large number of gits out there just screwing the quest up for others. Just saying there might be a legit reason for a

jedi to do the quest.

A lot of people you see there are for the exp. I was doing one spawn for exp to see if the macro did better and i got 400k exp in 90 minutes. Withought the macro I got 800k in 90 minutes. And it is right outside the village so its very easy and you can go afk through your leader with an easy macro. Plus I think the loot is awesome because I looted a sun guard which was awesome. I looted a very good pistol with 700 something max damage (mines better though) , and my leader looted a BE shirt worth millions. I forgot most of its stats but it had +7 to lightsaber crafting.

As they said above, except knothead bragging on taking peoples quest kills for his amusement.

You can chk journal cntrl J to see if the mission is still there and if not you should be done.

Also can review your combat chat tab to see how amny left. it takes a bit with all the spam in it but just roll up looking for the first word to be "YOU" as in you have killed so many and have so many left.

as melee i did it in 1 round... just go to pirates that people arent gonna attack at first, and then claim them for yourself.

and jedi are either doing it for a friend, doing it for reward, or doing it so they can change which fs boxes they have

Finally managed it! Took eight hours of trying tho!

Here's what we did, might make it easier for melee groups. The best wave I got 20 kills this way.

Pick one member to lead the group.

Everyone else should write a macro something like this:

macro title: "killem"

/attack;

/pause 1;

/macro killem

All other members of the group /target the leader and /follow the leader, then trigger the macro.

The leader's job is to select targets (I used [TAB] and the hit [F1] repeatedly to trigger the attack). Everyone will hit the same target as the leader, and the kill will be fairly quick (others shouldn't get as much chance to steal the kill). Everyone in the group should get the kill count.

Leader should also watch out for the Thugs, they don't count, only the outlaws and pirates. Unless you want the XP and/or loot, you may as well ignore the others.

It worked for us... hope it works for you!

Each time you kill one you'll get a system message advising you as to how many you still need to kill. BTW, it's not kill 50 random sith, it's Kill 50 Sith Outlaws, and 25 Sith Pirates. You'll get the outlaws part done pretty quick, but not that many Pirates spawn each time so you may need to wait 2 or 3 spawn cycles if you don't have an AOE attack.

I did this quest yesterday and just ran around Area Attacking everything that spawned and got this done in about 20 mins.
