Here Devs, made it all easy for you. Now code it.
New Way to become force sensitive.
First you tour the world, get something like 30 poi’s. Nothing evolves your mind like seeing new things. Then you try things out, learn some more, and evolve your mind some more. Master 3 professions.
Now after the game have confirmed that you have all those things, it starts a 3 day countdown timer (online time). As the hour grows nearer, you get a higher and higher increased chance of looting a “research pad on an old man” every time you loot a corpse. Meaning, when you start at hour 1, you have like 1% chance of looting it, but if you are at hour 40, you have a much higher chance of getting one. This will cure the, I have to wait around and be bored, because I have to wait for the old man.
Now when you read that note, it will activate a waypoint. Now this waypoint is linked to your character, so if it should be spawned (by you getting near), it will reset if you go offline, but you have to only read the note again to get another waypoint. This will also avoid bugs, in case the old man should spawn inside a house or wall. The player can then solve this themselves.
You then go meet the old man, who tells you that you are indeed attuned to the force, and he would offer to show you the road you must walk, if you are willing and strong enough.
But first, you must show yourself to be skilled, by completing a few things for him.
Now you will get one or two choices. All will get the choice of going the combat route. But if you have a master crafter profession (have to be master), you can get the choice to go the crafter route.

Also, you can only do one mission for him a day. And make sure that if you want your mission reset, you can just talk to him, and he will cancel your old mission and restart it.
Combat Route
Mission 1 :
Locate a crystal that has been stolen.
You get a waypoint, to a sith camp, where the last mob will drop the stolen crystal.
When you return, you will be told to keep it, as it will be needed in the future for you.
Sith are their normal combat lvl and difficulty as always.

Mission 2 :
Find the information.
The old man has heard that there exists a place where those sensitive in the force gather, but would like to know more. He has heard that the sith are currently trying to locate and destroy the place, so your mission is to find the sith, and find the location.
You get a waypoint to a sith camp. After killing them you find a datapad with a waypoint to another camp. At this camp, you will find a datapad, with a waypoint to a sith main camp. At this main camp there will be a leader, and on him, will be a scrambled datapad. Return this to the old man.

Once you find him, he tells you that it’s a very strong encryption, and he needs you to locate something for him first, before he can do this. This will give you 5 different waypoints to search for a decrypter code. All waypoints will spawn some sort of sith camp. And every sith will have a percentage chance to spawn the code. Once you kill one camp, it’s waypoint will be removed, and you will get a higher chance on the next camp and so forth. If you make it to the 5th camp, and kill the last mob, there then becomes a 100% chance for looting the code. Return it to the hacker. Receive the decrypted datapad, and return it to the old man. He will then tell you the location of the village, and give you the mission to go there. (village will now be unlocked for you)

VILLAGE PART
Now, following the new way to get force sensitive’s example, we should remove the xp grind, and make the entire village a series of quests. It would be way too long to spell write out here, but if the dev’s would like it, I would be more than happy to write it out. For free even.
But basically, look at the way the quest in phase 3 for ranged defense works. You have 8 missions to complete, and you can only do 3 a day.
Now extend all this so you no longer need to grind xp for all the different boxes and unlocks. It is all missions.
Let’s say you want to do the ranged defense unlock and earn the 4 boxes. This is the new way it could work.
You talk to the guy that has to do with this branch. He gives you a quest like he always does to track down the sith. Again you can only track down 3 missions a day, but instead you have to wait 3 days before you can do the next one. So this should take you 6 days to unlock. So that is 6 days out of the 21 days there is in a phase. Then you have to earn the 4 boxes. To get one box, you have to do a series of missions, let’s say 6 missions. You can only do one every day. So one box takes 6 days, and an entire tree takes 24 days.
This would still take the same time that the current grind takes, but make it all more fun, and make it possible for people that don’t have 10 hours a day to grind, to become a padawan in just a bit more time than the grinders. So it would still make the way to jedi long, but would make it fun, and equal for all. And would no longer give a fast way to do this.
